Geeze wouldn't want to be sleeping near you when you have a nightmare. :S
Besides, a SPARTAN's standard heavy melee doesn't break shield/health gate unless you're using TU rules (which suck) so you should be able to outpunch them.
but the sync kill they can use if they get behind you is fearsome fast.

Still, totally worth it!
"I had a wonderful night. Thank you...and thanks for waiting."
A lot of stress off of her shoulders, seeing Shepard again.

Which reminds me, I do have a dagger lodged between the matress and the bedframe next to my head. My father also wondered why I had that there. I asked him whereelse he would store a dagger. I believe he didn't follow my logic.
Now, I'm two hours overdue. Night.

Tali's always the last squadmate you acquire. Even in ME2, you have to wait until after Horizon. It is quite annoying. I don't think the devs like her as much as the fans do.
Edit: Made worse by the fact that she and Wrex don't get to talk to each other in ME3. Or even ME2, if I remember right.

In ME1, you get her before Liara, and can choose to get her before Garrus or Wrex, if memory recalls.
In ME2, Thane, Samara, Legion, Zaeed, and Kasumi can be recruited after Tali.
In ME3, there's a perfectly good plot-mandated reason for not recruiting her earlier. (Although it's an incredibly stupid call on her part, it is in character for her to make those in leadership roles) Plus, you can always recruit Javik after getting her, if you wish.

A bit off topic but thought I'd share this video with you guys before going to bed. It's a very recently uploaded 1 hour long documentary about the Indoctrination Theory (IT) which I fully support and looks very promissing. Damn if my internet was a bit faster... got to wait for it to load half the video before playing

I would prefer (hope is a strong word, because I don't actually truly mind either way) that the brilliant BioWare writers can make the current ending good, now that EA have cracked the whip and stopped Casey and Mac from taking full control.

Let's just hope that whatever Bioware comes up with is enough to get me and Tali that house on Rannoch.
Right, Tali? <3
Besides, I don't want Shepard to be a martyr! He's capable of getting this job done, damn it. And then settling down, and proceeding to melt into the arms and body of the one he cares for most.
They're bringing at least some of the voice talent back.Ponei wrote...

Here a repost of my short ending story and if you have questions within reason ask and its after the red ending
When the relays imploded the result was Pluto was destroyed one human screamed "Noooooo! Pluto!" then was knocked out after a laugh or two the species of the galaxy then found Shepard under some metal on the Citidel. One Quarian at the meeting to decide the next long range FTL suggested what the humans call Slip Space. When plans to build this began a transponder was found pointing to the crashed Normandy location. Shepard then lead a team to find the crew and low and behold he found them. Reunited with his love Tali and his good friend Garrus, Shepard ordered to the allied species to put all effort into this new FTL. After two months of building one slip space drive they outfitted it on the largest ship in the fleet and used Slip Space for the first time. Shepard now lives his life on Rannoch with Tali and their children hearing occasional stories from "Uncle Garrus" from the apartment above their garage still trying to finish his Calibrations.

And then it comes out, and all the naysayers mysteriously get quiet...Neverwinter_Knight77 wrote...
Extended cut is NOT good enough, considering the fact that they said "We're not changing the ending, just clarifying it". But that's just my opinion.
This ending can be made good without any retcons. If what they would have to do to it to make it good would count as a retcon, then TalixShepard is a retcon.
It's very possible to write in new occurences and previously unexplained lore in the current framework without rewriting very much, if anything.
Of course, the conversation with Starchild will almost certainly be rewritten. No Charm or Intimidate options? No thanks. And besides, you should know to trust PR talk about as much as you'd trust a quarian genocidist. They could be lying to hide plot spoilers. "Never a better time to jump into the series" my quarian geth peace obtaining backside.
Of course, what I really want is for Kai Leng to be rewritten. Some bullet points.
- Kill Thane quicker. Don't give him a chance to fight back, Leng! That's not your style. And besides, compared to you, he's kind of like a small child attacking Ezio.
- A boss fight before the Cerberus coup, so you know he means business. Plot armour, non-blatant, believable, and a genuinely difficult encounter that goes by the Object Rho rule of "if you lose, doesn't matter"
- Insult a xenophilic romance (especially Thane and Liara)
- Activate the plot armour cutscene on Thessia one armour lock before you do. That way you won't be running around invincible.

^Haha Uncle Garrus
This is surely a viable canon, as it contains the most important aspects of any Talimance epilogue (imo) which is Shep+Tali+Rannoch.
