I always brought Garrus but I think this time around I'll get Javik on this mission. His lines are entertaining at best as he's well known as the embodiment of trolling LoL

Also kinda curious what happens if Garrus is romanced, will figure out eventually when my Garrus romance playthrough gets that far.

That's probably the dialogue triggered if you haven't recommited to either one yet before the mission. Of course, I never do that since that means no super flirty banter during the mission.

Oh anubis I just found out how to get that after doing some tests. First you need Ashley romanced in ME1, then break up with her and romance Tali in ME2. As soon as you get Tali in ME3 you need to call her up to your cabin and tell her you two can't stay together anymore  

Unfortunately it's the only way but just forget about that scene with Ashley, she's a racist bosh'tet anyways

She's on her toes that one, it was good to see her get the good jabs in on that idiot that I hate...  I think that I played ME2 and went to Horizon one too many times before ME3.

I thought you had to continue but not lock in Ashleys romance in ME3 (if you romanced her in ME1) and then dump her for Tali by locking in Tali's romance with the Shepards Quarters chat.

That's only a guess though as I didn't romance Ash in 1.

If your romancing Tali, one of his lines is, "Hey, I was there when you two had your thing, remember?  Just...get a room, and work it out."  Possibly one of Garrus's best lines ever.  It makes me wonder though how he was 'there' when Shepard and Tali had their thing...I knew I couldn't trust Kasumi not to invade our privacy!

I couldn't break up with Tali.  I actually just recently saw a video of Shepard breaking up with her, and while it's not terrifying and while Tali definately tries to take the news in stride, I couldn't call it off and just be friends.  I started something with her in ME1 + 2, and I want to see through it even beyond ME3 and death.  I'll wait for her and find ways to make things happen.

I just found out how to do it. lets just say it's not worth it you have to give up Tali for Ashley.
