I hadn't heard that ... was it tweeted somewhere or just a rumor?

Hello guys and girls. Just dropped by to put in my support for Tali. My very first ME2 play I romanced Tali and left Liara (didn't know about LotSB).

Then I changed my harddrive on my 360 and couldn't transfer data so ended doing a ME1 and 2 back to back but with knowing about LotSB, so I went Liara both. I'm now doing another ME2 to give myself a second "main" Shepard and getting back with Tali

P.S. My wife doesn't play ME but she watches me alot and gives her support to Tali too. She says it's not about "oh look a skimpy how blue alien, lets do her" but about friendship that has evolved into love and likes how Tali has grown up and loves her additude.

he means in ME2....whether or not Tali is a bisexual romance in ME3 is unknown....

And Mark Meer recorded for the Kaidan romance, and the Thane romance, and the Jacob romance, and Harkin calling him a princess and...

Male and Female Shepard have the same script. That's why you have Hale dialog for the Tali romance and you have male Shepard calling himself a woman.

All the main characters in Mass Effect who have even remotely humanoid faces are based on their voice actors (even Mordin, to an extent), so if Tali's face is revealed, odds are she's going to look similar to Liz Sroka.

I dont know is this actualy possible or wise. Of coure there si some room to "steal" some features form Liz but we have to understand that Tali's pofile doesnt exacly matches with her voice actresses.

Maybe I am wrong but it does kind of feel like portraing cartoon character after its voice animator. 

It is dengerous to blend the character with the real person too much.

It's not a hypothetical. With Garrus, Wrex and Legion as exceptions, all the squadmates in Mass Effect are facially based on their voice actors (except for Liara, who is voiced by Ali Hillis but is modeled after Jillian Murray). Judging by the trend that's going on, like I said, odds are she's going to be the facial model for Tali, too.

Ashley, Thane, Kaidan, Kasumi, Zaeed, Grunt (obviously), Samara, and Morinth do not share VA faces...

Samara's face model and voice actress are not the same person. Ashley's voice actress is black. Steve Blum is unfortunately not pure krogan.

Left out Grunt and Thane. Knew I forgot someone. Ashley's based on Kimberly Brooks, even though the VA is black. IDK about Kasumi, but Zaeed's VA is a match. Mistaken on Samara. Didn't include Morinth since she's kind of a "mystery" character.

Precedent is still there, though. Tali's going to facially look like a human, whether model or VA, but the odds that it's the VA are still pretty good.

I wonder if there's been any discussion if Tali as a sort of disabled character? That was the thing that resonated with me in ME2. Her speech about all the things she can't do and how dare Shepard lecture her about fighting for a chance for the next generation to be healthy could have come from my own mouth, I like that there has to be some negotiation about what can and can't be done and that Shepard's going to have to accommodate her if this relationship is going to work. And yet, she is affirmed as a sexual being and not made into a tragic figure for it. Oh, I like that very much.

Hmm, I've never considered that. I guess you could see Tali as an analogue for a disabled person. I kind of like that...

Yeah, what if tali is on the Admiral board? There is the chance still that she is exiled or dead, but what would she be doing otherwise besides stick with Shepard on his ship, especially those that held a romance with her. I suppose since Shepard in back in the Alliance in seems, then they would have problems with Tali on board an Alliance vessel, especially since Shepard is being tried for committing a galactic crime that could start a war between the Alliance and the Batarians, even as big as the Citadel vs the Terminus Systems.

The Alliance didn't have trouble with Tali on the Normandy SR1 In the first game.

Actually they did. Joker tells you that the Alliance brass didn't like all the non-humans on the ship.

And you can even heard this right from Alliance officer during Snap Inspection assignment. Rear Admiral Mikhailovich quite clearly stated that he is not happy about non-human crew members. (Though funnily he completely failed to mention Tali being part of your crew )

Anyway it does seems that Alliance didn't particularly had any problems with Tali or Quarians in general in ME1. It's just that they had problems with non-humans members in general. And even that was mostly likely because Normandy was totally new, top of the line ship.

Yup, she has bird feet, I find it cute myself. Especially since she is one of the few aliens with alien feet.
