Damn. I had a stupid fantasy in my head where Ash wouldn't do more VR because the ending was so bad. And then they fixed the endings after firing the two jerks that ruined it, and my faith in bioware was renewed.


Edit: Sex may sell, but is not all important. Miranda isn't the most popular character in mass effect. Tali is. When we don't see a milimetre of her skin in all three games, when she has three toes on each foot and fingers on each hand, when her shins are canted backwards and her thighs bend backwards, when the sex scenes are nonexistant, and she still has the most fans. Gamers aren't as horny as that proverb indicates.

Honestly? I don't care. I should have stonewalled this crap ages ago. You can repeatedly insist that Mass Effect has to follow real world rules. You're dead wrong. Completely. Utterly. I don't give a flying shifty cow if you're completely right as to what would happen in our world. Nobody else sane does either. Tali has long hair under that helmet, because canon said so. It makes no sense. And I'm okay with that. You don't have to be. But do not belittle anyone who doesn't want to constantly compare everything to real life. That's inciting.

The whole hair thing is proven irrelevant by Shepard taking a beam made of molten metal at star level temperatures approaching the speed of light, and recovering from the attack. It's unrealistic as all hell. It's canon. We can prove it's unrealistic, in two seconds or less. Few people would mind if it were kept, as long as the ending were fixed. To "prove" the hair thing, you need to have quite a good understanding, and even then the whole thing about aliens brings it into question.

This is why nobody likes debating with you. When you're proven wrong, you move the goalposts and make it an argument.
Hell, you denied vampire Tali constitutes a fetish. And I had to bring that up, because I'm out. Keep your alien Tali. Just... don't think it superior.

Well, you just accepted pretty much all of my points. Mainly, that the canon is incorrect. 

And vampire tali is not a fetish. You are simply incorrect. It does not fit the definition.

Dem hips being part of a [vampiric] quarian is not a fetish. Putting other words in the bracket won't make it a fetish either. Tall, green, smells like honey, not fetishes. Well, single words at least. Whole sentences could make it a fetish.

Pardon the interruption fellas, but I have a question regarding Tali's story. Remember the talk you have with her on the Citadel post-Rannoch? She reminisces about the time Saren's goons pursued her to the Citadel and shot her, which led to her being ambused by Fist's men and her first encounter with Shepard. In this conversation Shepard claims Tali never told him about her run-in with Saren's forces, but if I recall, she did mention this in ME1 didn't she? Either that or Dr. Michel did when you asked her about treating a quarian prior to meeting Fist. Am I remembering this wrong or is this a legit writing error in ME3?
