I wish you could have seen and talked to Tali with her helmet off, I mean the picture was nice and all but by the time she gives it to you, SHEPARD (not u, the player) has already seen her without it and more. That makes me feel cut off or separated from whats going on. Its an unpleasant reminder that, even though you control Shepard, you are not him and that its Shepard who has the relationship with Tali...not you. All im saying is that it would have felt more personal if you could witness her without it in other ways than a photograph...
I wanted to see her "nude" in sex scene. She said that her system has adapted Shepard already so there was no reason to not show it to us. When Shepard wakes up, she is already putting her suit on
Would have been ground breaking perfect moment imo to see her nude when Shep wakes up
EDIT: typo fixed

Do you think Tali stole a few ships or did some plundering of her own during her pilgrimage?

If she hijacked an enemy ship and used it for escape. I could believe it.forthary wrote...

Well she did meet Thorian, saved last Rachni queen, killed Saren, got rare geth data to send back to fleet. Stopped Sovereign's invasion. Saved citadel, exposed Saren....
Thats probably more than many quarians do on their whole life when she just did it on pilgrimage
Ohh, she stole Normandy with Shepard and rest of group

Heh, maybe she stole a few pieces of the normandy on her way to the escape pods. I wondered why she carried a normandy fire extinguisher and some scrap metal on her way out...
Actually, scratch that, I heard she filled the whole escape pod with salvage from the normandy so she could get some credits. Shepard had to borrow some credits from her from gambling on the citadel...

Well she says that her dad wouldn't be happy about her stealing the normandy, I doubt she did much illegal before meeting Shepard.
Sounded like she went roaming around, searching for heretic geth, then went to citadel, got shot, patched up by Dr Michel, talked to fist, then got saved by Shepard.

It got me thinking about the extended cut DLC that's coming out in the next few months...it's all I can hope for now with this series. Must...hold the line, for Tali...this music somehow helps a bit. Gets me thinking about ME2, which to me, was my favorite in the series(though don't get me wrong, the romance in ME3 for Tali was amazing, but the ending just...emotionally drained me).
I know I'm not the only one who feels this way. Makes me wonder if I'll ever become invested in any other series as much as I was with Mass Effect.
But I must hold the line...

Yeah I know what you mean. Fortunately (maybe) not many series have characters stretching over so long a period - harder to get too invested in them.

And I thought you'd never come back...if only you knew the truth. But then again, im not really at liberty to say much.
Oh, by the way, had a interesting question for the thread:
Lets say in the extended cut, the decision you make to rewrite or destroy the geth had more long-term consequences that in turn, affected Tali, the quarian people, and the geth in some fashion. What consequences do you believe should be laid out for each side?
The way I see it, for destroying the heretics, the resettling of Rannoch will take slightly longer, as the quarian lives saved from destroying the geth aren't quite at effecient at tasks as the geth are. In addition, it will take them ~3 months to 1 year for the quarians to adapt to Rannoch's environment without the suit, and even longer to build up a general immune system like other species, which would mean if you somehow pushed for Tali to install geth software in her body to help her adapt, she won't be able to adapt as well. However, the quarian people will have a better genetic pool to repopulate with, and they are more likely to give the geth as well as quarians more clearer rules and rights regarding each other.
On the other hand, if you rewrite them, it'll be faster for the quarians to resettle on rannoch. Their immune systems will not only take less time to adapt, but also provide more protection. Their resources will have more influence on building the next galaxy station with the loss of the citadel. However, the quarians will have a less stable genetic pool to repopulate with, meaning their numbers won't grow as fast as they could be. In addition, due to the geth's literal translation of things, it will be harder for both the geth and the quarians to establish helpful rules and rights regarding each other.

Tali is not human and therefore the Space Marines would hunt her. I think she would better fit the Eldar.

Tell me how bad it is that I really don't want to be invested in anything else besides Mass Effect? I feel like I can't move on.
:l
I mean...eventually, It'll die down, and people will move on to other games and such...which gets me thinking...the fanfiction I'm creating now that's not even hitting Mass Effect 2 yet...will it even gain anymore popularity in the coming months?
Will it be pointless to write something nobody cares or thinks about anymore?
It's quite literally depresses me.
