I have a good idea for a Tali related topic. Since everyone Roleplays and pictures our own shepard differently; why did your Shepard become romantically involved with Tali? When did he start having feeling for her? What about her was he attracted to? How did his relationship with her grow over time?
((I will be posting my own answer this this question later, once I get home and have time to write something longer))
I like this. Lemme see if I can gather my writing/RP'ing skills.
Ramius Shepard - Infiltrator - Spacer - Sole Survivor - 90% Paragon 10% Renegade
After surviving the events of Akuze, during which he watched his entire unit become Thresher Maw food through the scope of his rifle, Ramius was a tortured soul. All of his friends gone in a much more gruesome way than just the silent death of space combat. His first attachment to the opposite gender after this event was Ashley Williams. Seeing a fellow soul after her entire was wiped out on Eden Prime, things built up from there. Tali was a great friend as Ramius would go down to engineering to make sure she was settling in and they would talk shop. What are the best omni-tool upgrades, best way to hack certain defenses, etc. Skip forward two years to Horizon. Ramius was devestated over how Ashley treated his return from the grave. Despite her email later, that wound would not heal. He began to think back and conclude that what was there was not love. Maybe not as base as just sex, but somewhere inbetween. The mission to Haestrom, however, ticked something over in his head.
Not only were the journals Ramius found on Haestrom indicative of a deeper relationship between him and Tali'Zorah, but the fact that even though she was on a Cerberus ship, she would help
him. He already had a great friendship with her on the SR1, but is this something more? Unknowing how to proceed, things continued on.
During Tali's loyalty mission is when the first inklings of actual love cropped up. He not only agreed to act in her defense, but he agreed to fight an entire ship full of Geth in order to restore her standing. The events on the Alarei opened his eyes on how he really felt for her. Comforting her after the loss of her father, and making a promise, if only to himself, that he would continue what Rael started, build her a house on the homeworld.
And well, the rest is in the game.

I really hope that's coherent enough. Eehhhh, oh well.
