Hi everyone. I'm just curious and I can't help but getting the feeling that Tali is a Quarian of a little faith.

Why?

Beacuse she often start her sentences with "I can't believe, that...". And here's my question. How many times Tali have said that line through the entire trilogy?

I'm not sure what you are trying to say here. Faith and belief are different concepts, and it appears that you may be confusing or conflating the two. And I can't remember a single instance of her saying those words. There are some parts in ME1, when she is talking about how advanced the normandy is, and she says things like 'I never would have thought I'd work on an engine this advanced' and stuff. Close, but not verbatim.

Actually, no. I'm interested in dry statistics. I'm my recent playthoughs of ME2 and ME3 it struck me with attention, how Tali states her sentences.
I.e on Haestrom when Shepard contacts her through the comm, she's saying "Shepard. I can't belive you're here"
or after the trial on Alarei "I can't believe what you did. What did you pull off.."
or her commentary after destroying Collectors Base: "I can't believe we destroyed the Collector Base"
She's saying that rather frequently and it just couldn't skip my attention.

miranda? You need a new friend

Don't feel bad for Tali though. She can do much better than a Shepard who'd even look at MIranda when she's around.

Pretty much this.  I expected no less of him.  I've known him most of my life, and he's always been purely about appearance first.  I'd rather he hadn't picked Tali. lol  Soon as ME3 came out he dropped Miranda for Ash's new make over anyway.  Tali was spared a miserable relationship.

Mirandas hideous though.

Tali wins on appearance too anyway. Miranda is just so over the top she's not attractive to me. I facepalmed the very first time I saw her. I suppose dem hips arguably are OTT too but they work. Even the hands and legs are strangely appealing. The only problem I can think of with Tali is that we can't share a meal together.

When I referred to appearance I'm not referring to Tali being less attractive than any of the other females.  I meant the fact that you can't really "see" Tali so to speak you know cause of the mask and helmet, etc.;also she isn't insanely proportioned.  Much like you Tali is my cup of tea but definitely not his.

I didn't remember any of those. Maybe it was just wiped from my mind with hundreds of "can it wait for a bit, i'm in the middle of some calibrations" across my dozens of playthroughs.

But when a dead guy comes to rescue you from a planet from which signals apparently could not be sent, you exterminate an ancient race of indoctrinated aliens, and are acquitted of treason by that same once-dead human when he berates the quarian leadership into submission, you have a lot to disbelieve.

The only way i can answer that is Quarians already have a bleak out look on things because of their situation and the way the rest of the galaxy treats them.  In Tali's case, when you're with Shepard it's hard to believe alot of things he ends up pulling off against the odds.  On Haestrom she was far away from anywhere she thought she would ever see Shepard, and poof there he is.  She may not have thought it impossible if she knew he was coming, but his arrival was very unexpected.  Shepard gets her charges of treason dropped without using any evidence if you go that route.  As for the Collector Base...well it was a suicide mission, they didn't know they'd succeed let alone even survive it.  I think Tali is just surprised that Shepard beats the odds so often.  Even EDI in ME3 says,"You continue to impress me Shepard.  With all the odds you're placed against your continued exsistence amazes me." , something like that.

Im still trying to figure out if any Quarians even know that they are together romantically. Posted Imagelmao  I wish there was at least one moment in the game where that was brought to light. Do the admirals know? Do Tali's friends such as Veetor or Kal know? Seems like only a few people on the Normandy were aware. And Javik with that evil laugh. lol  If any Quarians did know though Im sure they would be jealous; best boyfriend ever.  Raan and Xen probably would be too.  Xen especially cause she's already jealous Shep can get Geth cooperation without force; that just would add to it.Posted Image

Probably a crapload. There were probably million of screaming human and asari fangirls across the galaxy after the battle of the citadel, which he did with the help of a quarian, so why should they not? I'm not worried about tali being jelous though. I'm worried about the krogan that sent breeding requests. Posted Image

I wish their romance could had blossom in public. I wish their was a date night with Tali. Femshep who romance Garrus get a date night.

It seemed like it was a very taboo by what Tali seemed to suggest, not only amoung her own people but also that of other races though I'm fairly positive Shepard (or at least mine by how I played him) wouldn't of cared about peoples opinions (very defensive about quarian treatment as it shaped out).  I'm sure it would of came to light eventually, especially if Shepard would of gotten that chance to build that home for her like he promised (or at least my Shepard did)
I agree with you though Exelsis, there was likely a good bit of jealousy from various species.  Maybe even a few jealous of Shepard getting Tali, seeing she has done so much for her people.:D

In my headcanon, everyone knows something is up, but they don't know with who. It's hard to miss the first human spectre shopping in a women's underwear store in full combat armor. But damn xen knows. Can't get anything past her.

Leave it to EDI and everyone and their grandma will know Shep and Tali are together. She's quite liberal with informing those out of the know about Tali and Shepard's magical night from ME2. lol

Too bad dialogue wheels in ME3 are suspiciously hard to find.

lmao That would be an interesting turn of events, and Tali would probably lend a hand with that one.  Im sure Donnelly would ask for details about the renegade option. "Was there oils and lubricants involved;and moaning?"Posted Image Im surprised he and Joker aren't good buddies.

I think everyone on the Normandy knows, mainly because of EDI, but anyone else not on board probably don't know. It would've been really nice for the romances to be more out there, like you do a "date" with your LI on the Citadel and people are just like "Who's that with Shepard, and why are they holding hands?" you know?

You know that sonic toothbrush she talked about? She didn't lose it. She just uses it for something else now. And EDI controls it. Posted Image

Tali needed alot more citadel content. She comes in so late in the story, it feels like we are missing out content when compared to Liara. Would be interesting to have chats about their relationship, and other Quarians thoughts on it. I see Turians flirting with Quarians, but Shepard seems to be an oddity.

All that said, I feel sorry for people who romanced ME2 people haha. :?

Yeah it sucks abit.  Her Citadel content is lacking, and on the Normandy most of her conversation time is with Garrus which if you romanced her can be abit annoying; since it's less opportunity for your Shepard to speak with her.  Not to mention you have already heard from Garrus the entire game; love the character but damn let me get some chat time with Tali please.  You'd think since they put her in the game so late those two areas would have made up for some of that lost time.  Compared to some of the other ME2 romances though I agree its not that bad at all.  Poor Jacob and Thane mancers Posted Image

Yep. Everyone that 'manced jack, thane, jacob(lol), miranda, or kelly/samara/morinth pseudo-mances got shafted.

Weekes is too awesome to let that happen to tali. While I watched the credits roll after ME3, I wished that all of them would die in pain - except weekes. I don't want them to die anymore, but he's still the only one there that I respect anymore.

Tali disapproves of bioware.

Yeah I would of liked to see more development on the Citadel as well. Though I was very happy with how things developed over the course of all three games. I swear she was flirting with Shepard in the first game and just the overall wrapped up nice in the end. Her profession of love didn't seemed forced or rushed and left me with a bit of the heart flutters looking forward to each growing development. I just might be a sucker for romance though.

I'm mostly with you on that...though the 'Red' ending showing that Shepard may have survived, the way I coped was imagining the first thing after medi-gelling up was going out to find Tali and the rest of the crew.  (sorry if spoilers are suppose to be handled a certain way, new to the forums)

I wish there would of been a 4th option that would of saved your romance option and you (or your whole crew).  It would of been selfish most likely and not 'Shepard' but I know if presented the option I would of sat long and hard weighing that option.
