What i'd actually give her is a knife. And not some sissy butterknife either. Less of a knife, and more of a dreadnaught-slicing shortsword that she can just obliterate things with.Mupjup wrote...
Sure why not? =D if thats somet personal youll wanna give Tali and im sure she will enjoy it with the shotgun haha

A Mass Effect-ized AA-12 shotgun. Oh, that thing is badass and deserves to be given to the most awesome girl this side of the Perseus Veil.
Or failing that, whatever the best shotgun is. I would think it's the Wraith but my Shep doesn't use shotguns so he'd probably just take Tali's advice on that.

Dual wielding short blades is insanely silly. But this isn't a knife. The image I have in my head is a 2 foot long monstrosity. Something that would make you beg to be killed by being boiled in acid rather than stabbed with it. A riot of barbed and serrated edges, a curve to the blade, and a spike for a pommel. She'd wear it across her shoulder, the handle sticking out under her arm. That's badass. And sexy.Mupjup wrote...
A new knife sounds like a interesting gift to give to your Tali....she can wear it on her other leg so she can duel wield knifes in combat and obliterate everything in her way....

The amount of reegar content in ME3 makes tali sad.Super_Angurius wrote...
I played my Talimancer file, so I didn't see the Garrus/Tali romance. But it sorta bugs me because it seemed like they were setting something up in ME2 with Kal'Reegar. Then he gets killed offscreen, and Adam Baldwin was never even approached. Lame.

I also hate all the non personal no-dialogue dismissals. Even in ME2 post end where she just repeats her last romance dialogue was better because at least I felt still in the relationship. If they didn't want to write loads more lines, I'd have taken some ME2 style snuggle time. Then at least it wouldn't feel like she only wanted to hang out with Garrus before hitting Earth rather then hang with her boyfriend. I always find that takes a bit from her wanting more time. I mean, I was there ready and willing and the journey to Earth is likely longer then the journey to TIMbase (though that depends where you travel from, if your scanning planets in the same system then it's not very long at all).
It would also have been good to have something Quarian going on or referenced that didn't involve the main plot angle. The closest we get is her talking about her dad.
Anyway, as for Kal. Well, if you want more Kal there is always my fan fic. Obviously, I'm disappointed at his non-appearance and death by report. He wasn't the only one to suffer that fate and it sucks they did that to anyone. Bioware obviously doesn't realise that no one cares for characters having a heroic death if they DONT GET TO SEE IT. Argh.

For me, one of the main things that would have improved Tali's dialogue and dialogue involving her would be to have her in the game much earlier damn it. I hate that Shepard can't even ask after her. Then it's just like," oh hey, your here, what a surprise. I guess we should hook up again, because until you were in front of me I didn't care apparently". Lame.

I agree Super, it did seem that setup was just tossed out the window along with his life. Very lame for Kal indeed. I'd at least liked to have interacted with him once more, similar to Legion or Mordin before they had to go.Super_Angurius wrote...

I really wish they had all the romances move into your cabin after committing. Would have made sense after being together for so long. Even with no new dialogue, it adds a sense of intimacy.
Agreed. But they would still need to "roam" the ship so as not to cause problems with things already there. So maybe just decorating the room and keeping the "call-up" button from ME2 would've been do-able?

Catalyst has just explained the choices to Shepard, when Tali runs in and starts stabbing the Catalyst.
Tali: "Oh, no you don't you Bosh'Tet, he's mine, and we're going to have a house on the homeworld!"
Hackett calls Shepard.
Hackett: "Shepard, whatever your doing keep it up. It's like giant stab wounds are appearing on the Reapers."
Shepard: "What happens to the Catalyst happens to the Reapers! Tali, keep stabbing him!"
Tali: "Oh, Kee'Lah, you better belive I'll keep stabbing! And if we want kids, we'll adopt, and..."

I think one of my favorite lines for Tali is if you take her to the Ceberus Base. It's when she says "Your real, and YOU ARE MINE!" It's the way it's said. She's not just angry, For what is the only time I remember, she's violently possesive of something. Liz did an amazing job. Gives me this great idea for what they could put in the EC...

I was surprised that the call up and cuddle feature wasn't incuded. It was a little thing, but little things can mean a lot.
I miss cuddling with Tali in bed. So much. It would be interesting if they made something like that in the EC but interactive, like you could play footsies or handsies with Tali, maybe even tickle her with a hidden button combination, or just sit back and watch as they cuddle each other.
