It's more the "Once you've heard one lecture from my father, you've heard them all" statement. Sure, her innermost thoughts may have been the same between ME1 and ME2, but her willingness to share her misgivings about her father was very closed in ME1. She was very unwilling to say anything bad about her father, and only hinted at the relationship very vaguely.

"As a kid, I sometimes thought he was pushing me too hard, but now I'm old enough to appreciate what he taught me."

"My father's not the kind of person you bonded with. And he wasn't around all that much. People counted on him, and he took his duties seriously."

"I guess.. the best thing I can say about my father is that I respect him."

Blatant disrespect for her father is not something ME1 Tali would do. She tries to find good things to say about her father, and doesn't dwell on the aspects her father lacks. It's only in ME2 where those wounds of neglect and mistreatment are opened, and those wounds are especially deep and hidden. She wouldnt say the above line so easily.

@Revan: I don't see anything disrespectful about her father in the comic.

Remember that she couldn't wait to leave the Flotilla (maybe she was tired of her father's lectures too) and then she was a little homesick on the Normandy.

Man, just watched that comic preview... quaility is lowering every time.. BRING BACK OMAR FRANCIA!
This isn't what I expected. Maybe I should cancel my preorder... But its Tali!

This is a quality drop like if you read the big "hardcover" Star Wars Comics by Dark Horse and then take a weekly 3bucks "The clone wars" magazine. Its horrible.

And since when does she have purple blood O.o? Same reason that people thought her skin is pruple? Because she's wearing purple?

Well, her skin is very faintly purple. It's kind of an odd mix of albino pale, pink, and purple. With some lavender.
