Thank god for that.

Hopefully that means no more image spammery from Terrorize. Heh.

Yeah, when its kept civil it is okay, but when full spam it gets annoying

Notice how the Tali Fan thread has the most pages out of all the characters.

Ah, the dust has settled and I can offend your sensibilities! It’d probably be too much to hope that someone else would like this too :P

I started sketching around Tali’s helmet to try to get the right cranial proportions and so on for a better image…I can’t really draw at all, so I left this to the point where I didn’t dare mess with it for fear of ruining everything.

Now, importantly, this is an intentional exaggeration. I don’t actually want quarians to be cats (or bunnies, now that I look at it), but I think that there’s an argument to be made that by reducing these features back into a humanoid form might work nicely. If someone who actually can draw has already drawn quarians in this way, please let me know :)

I think the helmet shape can be used to argue that the quarians have a rather tiny chin for which the narrower jaw and a split upper lip would work. They have prominent noses, large eyes, and according to the codex, strange ears. So, I think moderating the features in this sketch might actually result in something good…

The cranial proportions sem to be about right, as is the neck height.

Here's a rather interesting question:

If there was such a thing as a Tali in a bottle, what's the best way to rub it?

^^

I'm no artist, but it looks like a pretty good draft so far lillith. She definately does look like a cat at the moment =P but as you said, thats part of your drawing method.

I'll certainatly be interested to see how it develops.

This is all I found in the online codex on Quarian face biology. Quarian facial structure and hair actually makes them the most similar to humans in physical appearance. Their ears or ear analogues differ in a noticeable fashion from those of humans, with references made to "what [passes] for the quarian version of an ear".

I agree, it looks more curved in certain lights at least (but in others the side of the nose seems straight so I dunno). The brow is about right, the nose could be shortened slightly, and could add a bit more curve.

I just personally happen to like the more vertical and straight better :)

Anyway was never really a fan of the whole Tali/Garrus thing. But maybe cuz I can't really say i'm a fan of Garrus...I would've supported Tali/Legion more. XP

Yeah, it was like lightning from bright sky <_< Was expecting similar thing what Liara does, but from distance or Kal'Reegar

I too expected Reegar if anyone it seems like there was more coming that wasn't stated, and unfortunately he's dead now so we'll never know.

I would have loved Tali with Reegar if not romanced by Shepard. Garrus? No. Legion? Posted Image

I just pretended that Tali was having a fling. Poor Garrus.

I agree. I think if Tali isn't with Shepard she she should have a loving relationship with another Quarian like Reegar. As for Garrus, I just feel that can't be in a physical relationship like she is when Shepard romances her. Because Turian plating would tear her skin leaving it open for many pathogens to get into her body. Also I believe when Tali discusses the history of Quarian biology she said something to the fact their immune systems still weren't great on Rannoch because of the symbiosis they had with microorganisms. So if this organisms were to say find their way into another dextro amino acid lifeform that lifeform could theoretically be eaten alive by these organisms. Plus you have other things that could be pass between the two. Thus I believe there is a high likelihood a physical relationship between Tali and Garrus could lead to both of them dying or getting very sick and why would they want a relationship after that.

Yep, because I was just making up short stories as I went along and posted them out of order when I finally decided to make an order out of 'em(and lengthen them into chapters). Sorry for the confusion.

I feel bad for the fangirls, but sexuality is fluid and all that. Kaidan may have had sexuality changes over a few years... (or may have just not been interested in MaleShep in ME1) but Tali didn't. :/

Ha, male playing as femshep - allergic to Mark Meers voice.
Liara is the ONLY option as a LI in my case. (excluding treynor and chambers, because they werent there all the time)

mfw the tali convo in ME2 suggested interest then removed it at the last moment. I have no face to describe the "WAT" experienced.
