Too bad in ME3 she dont have dialogue at early game like in ME2.
There should be option to go either Rannoch or Tuchanka by player choice like in ME1

It's pretty sad that we need to do the missions in order. Bad design.
She has no dialog in that mission. She has dialog in the mission where you need to rescue the turians, though (impossible to have Tali in that mission with the original coalesced.)

You mean Primarch son quest? You can take Tali in that mission always if you like, just finish Rachni mission before it, but yeah in that way we get 1 mission more with Tali

Isn't the rescue Primarch son mission time. I agree there is no excuse not had choices like Mass Effect 1 where you chose which main story mission you want. I really wanted to use Tali early in the game.
Once you do the first part, then it starts a timer for the second. But until then it will last for ages.

It's ok, but the drawing style is kind of bad. It seems like a rushed comic. Doesn't really add anything new to what you already know, beyond 2 quarians you barely know were killed because Tali wanted to do the right thing, and warn the authorities.

Oh, I see. i didn't know that. The problem is that you need to do a mission to unlock Tuchanka.Apathy1989 wrote...

More stuff...

I like that one.

The fact is that Tali was never originally intended to be a squadmate. I'm guessing they implemented her as a squaddie at the last possible minute, during the extended deadline period possibly. This would explain the fact that Tali is recruited so late in the game, that she has very little dialogue on the Normandy (hey, thanks for coming by, etc) and the three or so conversations that you DO have with her are done in Kasumi/Zaeed style. There's also the fact that she doesn't have a Citadel date and...oh, she can die.
It makes me grind my teeth in frustration when I think of how much more content Tali could have got if only Bioware had decided to make her a squadmate earlier in the development stage.
Still, it could be worse. (Jacob, Thane, Jack, Miranda...oh, the entire ME2 cast practically.)

No you can go do the Rachni mission to unlock Tuchanka. So your choice is having Tali for the turian missions, or hearing her go "SPIDERS SPIDERS SPIDERS!!!".

Really Tali was never originally intended to be a squadmate, What the hell wrong with Bioware. One of the most popular characters in Mass Effect she was'nt intended to be a squadmate. I guess that explan alot of things surrounded Tali in Mass Effect 3. So the real question why did'nt they decided to make her a squadmate earlier in the development stage. Tali is one of most popular characters in Mass Effect along with Garrus and Liara you think she would be on top of the list for characters in Mass Effect 3. So much potential wasted but i say that about Mass Effect 3 as a whole thou. Wow thanks for the info.

Tali is more popular than garrus and liara together. The problem is that the devs seemed to go blind to that fact somewhere before making LotSB. Liara is their pet, which is why she has more content than garrus and tali combined. Which is pretty stupid on their part, even from a bussiness standpoint. In ME2, she wasn't supposed to be there at all, but the fans screamed NO down their corprate throats. Then she wasn't an LI because, and I quote, "chicken feet". Thank patrick weekes and angry mail that it didn't end up like that.AnubisEgyptainLordofDeath wrote...

I already know about Liara being their pet. I knew that while playing LOTSB, Mass Effect 3 just reinforce it. Tali wasnt suppose to be a squadmate in Mass Effect 2 WTF and i knew about the LI. I agree everything you said, I wonder why bioware is blind to Tali's popular than, If there treating Tali like this now I'm not looking foward for the Mass Effect movie that along is a bad idea.

I hope they make a mass effect movie. I won't watch it, but it will ruin anyone involved in it. It will be the final nail in bioware's coffin. It will also be awful.AnubisEgyptainLordofDeath wrote...

If they do make a movie, I hope Tali won't be the love interest to that Shepard (Of course it won't happen, it will probably be Ashley and Liara fighting over him) but they better do her justice.

I would like the point out the game that Tali was almost not in was ME2, not ME3. In that unoffical interview with patrick weekes back at Pax it was said that Tali and Garrus were planned squadmate for ME3 from the start ((that was revieled also very early on in developement, before the date was pushed back)). The reasoning being that since they were the only two charecters who were in both ME1 and ME2, it was only fitting they be squadmates in ME3; so it was aparently a no brainer for the writers (They got something right? I am kinda shocked).
So atleast by ME3 Bioware understoon how popular Tali (and Garrus) is and thus knew to include them.
