Looked like what? An actual alien organism? Imagine the outrage if ashley looked like what she was on the inside. Well, cardboard cutout ashley wouldn't have many feweer fans than cardboard personality ashley. True talimancers would REJOICE if this was her face, and the reveal was done properly. Looks are not important for character depth.

who knows what shepard saw when he had sex with her. when romancing tali shepard was in to something..different.. seeing as she has 3 fingers impossibly skinny waist and curved legs. if you ask me I say pile on the for her design. It's like she's an alien, what did you expect

I expected an extremely exotic form of atractiveness, something that would not do it for most people. We recieved a human. Boring. So boring and unoriginal.

And I'm surprised there was no "what if you think i'm ugly?" moment for tali. I guess she wouldn't think that if she looked exactly like a human, though. Well, amazingly, they managed to make something right in the wrong way. Dammit, bioware.

Even though the hand is still off slightly, it is far better than what we get to see in the game.

(the hand in the original pic just bugs the sh*t outta me every time I see it.... <_< )

If by texmod, you mean use your imagination to replace the picture with one of your own thoughts, yes.
If not, then I can't help you with that. But origin doesn't play nice with mods at all.

exactly, and I feel that's the key word: exotic. something different from the other romances for mshep. what I'd give for during her romance shepard takes off her mask and reveals her face, she's very alien, and looks nothing like miranda/ashley (because the photoshop looks exactly like them btw), what the player sees is a frail very alien face, yet subtely attractive also. 

tali then jerks her face away from shepard

Tali: I'm sorry, I hoped I would be beautiful to you

then the player has 2 options:
-Tali...you ARE beautiful (seal the deal)
-...I should go (turn her down)

and if you turn her down for her distinct appearance then I guess you didn't romance her for her personality anyway, you got miranda for looks.

Yes, you can, in short. PC only, obviously.

 Give me a few minutes and I'll find the link to the texmodding tutorial.

I've downloaded one of the vids on this site to see how to do it, and it looks relatively simple. Obviously others have done it to create these textures for the armor etc (and someone has done one for Tali's picture already), so replacing the Tali stock image with whatever you want should be simple.

The legs are human. From hip to ankle in profile, there is almost no difference between humans and quarians except for the calf bulge. Number of digits is a superficial and meaningless difference. And again, it doesn't matter if humans and quarians are basically the same in appearance. They ARE, but it is down to every person to personally decide if they like or dislike that fact. Just don't say that they aren't too human. Because they pretty much are humans.

The amount of mental gymnastics you must go through to prove you're "right" in an arguement in order to "win" it every time, often supplying contradictory, twisted or outright false information is truly astounding. It's been interesting studying you, to say the least.

I'm referring to all of his arguements as a whole, just using the latest as an example. An example where his scale of "alien" is a human face with glowing eyes and insect-leg hair, but obviously backwards-bent tibiae/fibulae (someone needs to study human anatomy), differing hand/foot/pelvis structure and eye colors are not. That's just ridiculous. The arguement is biased and twists information to suit his views simply because he must always have the last word in every arguement he has.

Honestly I'm fine with them using that stock image as Tali's face in the photo, they just should have spent a lot more effort on that photoshop. I don't know the circumstances behind how it was created, whether the guy was rushed or simply didn't care, so I'm not passing harsh judgement. With any luck, they've gotten enough "feedback" (lol) and maybe they'll do it right this time by adding in an actual matching 3D model for her face in the EC or something.

To get the picture's URL you right click the picture and "copy image URL" then paste it normally.
