Mass Effect was released in 2007 on November 20 (First see Tali and Quarians)

Mass Effect: Ascension, released on July 29, 2008 (Told what Quarians look like, 8 Months after ME1 finishes, then take away the time it took to plan/publish etc, your looking at not very long since ME1 was finished that writers decided for sure what they looked like)

Mass Effect 2, was released January 26th 2010 (Tali is back and now as a LI, 18 Months after Ascension)

Its up to you how you want to read into this.

You still haven't posted what ascension describes quarians' appearance. Giant hole in your 'proof' there.

The description in Ascension is kinda vauge...partially due to the Quarian described having been tortured and partially disfigured. The Quarian is mention has having eyes (with eyelids), nose, a mouth (with teeth and lips) and ears. Of all the traits the ears are the only trait that the charecter describing the quarian (who is human) points out are segnifigently different from humans, saying "what passes for a human version of a ear"

Due to said description being kinda basic and undetailed it is possible other aspects of the quarian's apearence are alien aswell. However since only the ears were pointed out as being strange it is implyed that the rest of the quarian's apearence was atleast simular to humans.

As I already mentioned in my other response, if that's how you see the design then it all comes down to your perception of the photo. I find this perception to be distorted.

I've already explained how Tali is not just a human with lines on her face many times. I can't force you to see the design through my perspective and others when your preferences prevent you from doing so.

And still, I find it contradictory that you support a more alien face for Tali while using a signature with an alternate version of Tali that is just as human-looking as canon Tali.

The last thing you people should be doing is defending the horrible Photoshop.
Bioware took the laziest possible route and didn't even put 1% of effort i her design.
Not to mention, it's not just her but all Quarians have to be assumed to look like that.

Nobody is defending the photoshop.

So how many here are satisfied with the design? Not to mention the fact that the picture itself is wierd with her standing practically naked on a wide oopen and grassy field. Where was the picture taken? Why is she out of her suit?

They didn't even bother paysing attention to school grade science or their own lore. Why the flowing hair? Why does she look basically human. At least the Asari have head tentacles, no eyebrows and scaly blue skin going for them. They had such nice concepts in that art book but looks like they didn't care or have enough time.

I am perfectly okay with the concept of Tali's apearence, but I it should have been done as a 3d model, not a photoshop

The matter here is more than just how we perceive a color. What matters is whether we like or dislike the color. If I say I like the simplicity and structure of a certain type of grass, you say it looks just like regular grass while preferring another type with a shade of blue. 

This is why I've held back from responding on this topic, because these discussions go nowhere. Hell, many of you jump to the conclusion that we must like the sloppy photoshop job when we defend the design. Instead of providing a proper rebuttal, our tastes are insulted.

And still, those contradictions I mentioned go uncontested.

I actually like the look. If nothing else I can see why Shep was smiling so hard when he took the face plate off. In my opinion the fan edit loold better. The image is cleaner. It was very lazy of them not to make her in game face like they did every other main female. Maybe they will give it to us in an ending edit that's coming but I really don't see that happening.
