Well, i have finally finished the first chapter of the fanfic series I have been working on for the past month or so. This is my first attempt at writing fanfiction, so any feedback and comments would be greatly appreciated.

Here is a teaser/summery for the overall plot.

Twenty-three years have passed since the Reaper War, a time of well-earned peace for Commander John Shepard.  Now Ria'Shepard, adopted daughter of Shepard and Tali'Zorah, setts off for her pilgrimage and her own journey. Meanwhile a old enemy reemerges, forcing Shepard to take on his first Spectre assignment in over five years to stop them. As both become embroiled in a conflict to control a ancient weapon, can either Shepard  hope to save the galaxy once more?

ffs I finally am nearing the end of a new ME1 playthrough, trying to not romance anyone but still talk to them. Rejected Liara then killed off Ash on Virmire... and now after council lock down the ship I get a near-kiss with Liara.

Shesh that **** needs to get away. NO MEANS NO.

The only one that gets into Tali's suit...is Shepard.  Whenever Tali gives consent, of course.  And whenever her mask or other suit pieces doesn't get stuck on.  

It would be quite amusing to see Tali's reaction if she couldn't get her mask off.  Or if a interlocking piece of her suit broke off and she couldn't put it back on.  Oh the dillema!

Around 50 year old Shepard and Tali?  Naah. That is definitly too far in the future for me.
Its just - a whole new generation, nearly a new galaxy that must have evolved after the reaper war, new tech, new circumstances. Its very much to cover up to make this believable.
And older Shep and Tali - you know Im willing to read fanfics taking place about 5 or 6 years after the events of Mass Effect 3 but 23 years? I'll hardly give it a try. Maybe in 23 years.

Requires less equipment to write Silver. Probably only have to fire off a couple of rockets too, you know, for inspiration and banshee killing.

Well due to advances in medicine and gene therapy  aging in the Mass Effect universe is a bit different,, in that someone in their 50s will be physically closer to someone in their 30s (with 150 being the new 100).

As for the galazy changing, well one of the books took place over 15 years before  ME1, and everything seemed mostly the same.

Though I completely understand it is not your cup of tea. Honestly, if I was the one reading it as apposed to writing it I would likely be a bit iffy.

@Werdna: Yeah I know and thought of the medical enhancements. I doesn't dislike it because I thought it would handle Grandpa Shepard and so on. But because its just too far away from what we've experienced.

To the first ME book: yeah that takes place around 20 years befor ME1 but it tells a story with facts we knew already. Handles persons we knew and brings some light into the whole prehistory of ME.

But of course, this is my opinion. Keep on writing anyway, As I said, in about 23 years I might give it a try XP
