You know, that could be for the endings where Shepard dies... there could always be a completely different scene for if he lives.

It's pretty hard to tell because of the size of the picture and stuff.  Im pretty sure it's not legion, since I don't see a N7 armor piece or a big hole, and im not sure if it's Tali or not.  I hate to say it, but I think she may not have her mask on as well.  Her skin tone doesn't appear to be pale, but can't tell  Oh, and I see her nose.  It's big.  I want to honk it.

If Gabe Newell didn't take up half the picture, and if the picture was bigger...

Go to http://masseffect.bi...t/extended_cut/ you can get a larger picture on there. Plus it is hard to tell if she is or isn't wearing a mask due to the lense flares. We will find out everything on Tuesday.

Or you can just click ``view image`` then magnify it. She is clearly maskless.

I was able to zoom in more and I see she is maskless but she just has such a huge forehead. It almost looked like the curve of a visor.

I don't think, that we will see a full Quarian face. In the picture with the Geth and the Quarian you can only see the hood with a little bit of nose,mouth in shadow, not the face. I could bet it is only a short flash to show that Quarians can exist without their suit.

I still don't like the idea of having to do multiplayer to get the best ending. What if one day the multiplayer stuff is dead and gone, but I still want to get a good ending? Too bad for me, eh? Ugh, I've never liked this "you have to be connected to the internet to play this game" crap in any shape or form. Games should be standalone.

Don't get me wrong.  I played multiplayer on the ME3 demo and loved it.  But I mean the multiplayer isn't going to be around forever.  Also, I loathe the idea of paying for Xbox Live.  I doubt the 2-day pass will be enough to get me 70% readiness.  But of course, this is all a moot point if the extended cut ends up being a total dud, in which case all endings are the same again.

Supposedly, according to Chris, the EMS high point has been changed in the new EC and you no longer need 4000 EMS (with Anderson alive) in order to see the best Destroy ending with Shepard alive... supposedly:

It sounds like that in order to get the 'Extended Cut' experience, you need a savegame that is "before the attack on the Cerberus Base". Then (I would assume) the additional cut scenes are inserted as you play through to the end.

Lets hope this also includes some - additional scenes BEFORE the Cerberus base attack XD. Special scenes.

No, everything that counts is a proper Epilouge on Rannoch.

So they are going for a Dragon Age Origins type epilogue? Hopefully in addition to more cinematics that explain things, not just a closure slideshow. ANd from the pic it looks like they did that sun behind the quarian face so you can't really see it thing.

As I said.

It may very well be animated. This is the caption under the pic on the website: "Animation is iterated on for the Epilogue sequence"

My personal choice was to do the Destroy ending each time. I guess I will still do that first and see how it plays out since I want to see what happens after the "breath" scene. A shame I may not be able to get this bit in my Shepard's ending if it is only tied to synthesis.

Meh I cannot do anything but destroy for all the characters. Control and synthesis just feel weird.

I will watch the differences on youtube though.

Mmph. Agreed, destroy is the only choice that appeals to me. Control is doing the opposite of what Shepard set out to do and Synthesis is just...wrong. The only real reason why I'd choose Destroy over the other two however is mostly because there's the possibly of a reunion...though we don't know if that happens or not.

I'll have to watch it on Youtube though, since i've been screwed over and I have to wait an extra week until I can download it. I'll keep a close eye on this thread though, to see how the Talimance concludes. Tbh that's all I really care about lol

I get the feeling that Bioware is bluffing. Apparently the EC is 1.9 gigabytes. Lair of the Shadow Broker was 1.5 if I remember correctly. I don't think cutscenes would take up that much.

What will happen to all the Quarians who uploaded Geth into their suits? Will they die too? So much for open-mindedness.
