And here I thought the "I want more time" comment from Tali could not be top off....

BW just prove me wrong... That was worth taking my Tali with me for the final push.

I really had to cover my mouth in awe....

Sadly as much as I like Tali, I can't choose destroy. I can't choose any of them really but destroying the geth just for the sake of being Talieverafter is just no good in my books.

I am happy for people to consider it a worthy sacrifice or something but I can't go with it.

Its a shame because the Normandy evac scene was very touching again, but I soon felt let down for a second time, like before, the only winning move is not to play :/

What do you guys mean she doesn't put it up, she does put it up. At least she did in my destroy ending where I did get the final breath scene...

That's why an implied possibility of reunion isn't really enough to take away the pain. God, how happy I would've felt seeing Tali's joy at a reunion. I really don't see any sense in it not being there, the arguments against it are just crazy.

In mine she held it.

As for endings, I chose Destroy not for the happy ever after but because utimately that was my mission and if EDI and the Geth die, well that sucks, but like Garrus said very early on humans want to save everyone.  In this war that isn't going to happen.

There are videos of other LIs not putting up the plaque, and they smile as if to say "I know he's alive."

Obviously, we don't get that with Tali because of the mask, but I think we can be certain she does it too.

Well, now I am mad because she most definitely put it up, she set it right above Andersons :/

I don't really feel a particular emotional attachment to the Geth, nor EDI. I do have an emotional attachment to Tali though.

As unfortunate as losing the Geth + EDI is, I doubt I'll have too much difficulty making that choice when i'm finally able to download the darned thing.

For me it isn't really anything about the emotional attachment so much as I find Control to be dangerous and could basically turn Shepard into the Star Kid eventually and I don't feel confident that a forced techno-singularity is the right path for the Galaxy. Personally I like Destroy because it implies that organic species will be able to self determine their own path and hopefully learn from the past.

If there was actualy a propper reunion rather than an interpretation I might do it, but its just not worth it sadley, to me at least.

They forgot to correct the Tali picture. It is still the old one with the wrong hand.

Was it ever implied they would change this?

I was fine with the photo, and as I asked before was it stated they would fix it? Or is this wishful thinking or assumption they would fix it.

No, but the lazy Photoshop was one of the main points of criticism next to the end. They could at least redo the hand.

It was in their official poll a while back. Of course they give yet another scene where they could have had Tali take of her mask and show us, but they did not.

Also, I just replayed the ending again and she did not put up the plaque this time :) man idk its wierd lol.

As for the picture, you do realize that she has an extra knuckle on her hand right, they didn't even bother to photoshop it out. You can also see the tendens that would connect a third finger if you look carefully even though Quarians only have two fingers and a thumb.

I only really care about the face, and I am not going to get all super anal if they screwed up a knuckle.

The story of ME3 was good and that is what matters to me.

I thik the community was pretty split and for the most part I think the community was being hyper critical at this point as stock footage is actually used everywhere.

It was just a rather savvy internet person that found the stock photo.  If no one found it the controversy would not have started it.  I kind of find it a non-issue overall.

But that is just my opinion.

Tuchanka and Rannoch are good. The rest not so much.

But it is still better than the female devil.

Well. I definitely like the EC much better than the original. In destroy, they pretty much say they can rebuild the relays, and you see Shepard take a breath which pretty much means either the indoctrination theory is still a go or he's just going to get back to Tali. Either way, I hope Bioware tells us eventually. I am grateful that they improved the endings, but it is still too "open" for me.

If you have 3100 assets then you get the destroy live ending. in that one Tali is about the put up the name, but stops at the last minute, somehow knowing Shepard is still alive. Then you see the breath scene. While you don't see a reunion, it is very heavily implied, as the Normandy is now heading back to earth and Shepard is indeed still alive.

There is no onscreen reunion, but if you get the Shepard breathes ending, she will hold the plaque... though I guess she might also put it up.  But the reunion happens off screen in head cannon land.

He lives and will be reunited with the crew/LI.

Yep. All I really wanted was a scene where Shep's LI discovered she was alive. Really all I wanted. But I guess there were far fewer of us than I realised. [smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/unsure.png[/smilie]

One of the goals for the Extended Cut, as part of addressing player feedback, was to provide more time with the love interest, and more opportunity for players to say goodbye to them and provide additional moments of connection between them. We did this in several ways:
  • Shepard can now actually say goodbye to the love interest when they are split up at the conduit run.
  • When Shepard sees flashbacks of important characters during the final decision, the flashbacks are now variable based on your playthrough – so your love interest can appear as one of the flashbacks, providing another moment of reflection between Shepard and that character.
  • A memorial scene was added, partly to show a close bond between Shepard and the love interest. The scene is variable, and if Shepard has a love interest in a given playthrough, it will be that character who places Shepard’s name on the memorial wall.
  • You may notice that in the “Shepard lives” ending, the love interest hesitates to place Shepard’s name on the wall, and instead looks up as though deep in thought. This is meant to suggest that the love interest is not ready to believe Shepard is dead, and the final scene reveals they are correct. As the Normandy lifts off, there is hope that the love interest and Shepard will again be together.
