If refusal worked, everyone would choose it. That would be boring.

All that said, I think I would have preferred a suicide mission style ending where there was no massive choice. Only choices would be which squadmates died, which fleets blew up, etc.

The suicide mission had a massive choice. (It didn't turn out that big, but at the time it was)
But yeah, co-ordinating playing as Hackett (to command the fleets) Shepard (to command the ground forces in an RTS style, and fight if he deploys himself) and certain GaW assets on the ground if present (because why the flipping hell not) would have been epic.

But what's done is done. BioWare and EA (EA were part of the solution, not the problem, for keelah's sake) fixed the main problem, and the other issues are the kind of stuff you find in every game. Triple-A, Indie, and everything in between.

I don't care about any remaining plotholes, choices or any of that.

I picked destroy. And after a heartwrenching and much deserved Tali goodbye scene, I was given some hope for the future...and if that rubble isn't too heavy, maybe *our* future.

Satisfied fully by EC - should have been like this all along

If that were possible, it would have been what Destroy would do.
The Crucible is little more than a power source.

I remember the catalyst mentioned that my crucible was in good condition, but it would not stop with the reapers.  However, it was nice to know anything affected by it could be fixed (Geth, EDI).  Perhaps this DLC will add a new flavor to destroy?

Just saw the Tali EC goodbye earlier today, it stirred up the most emotion out of any of the other LIs. "I have a home". You almost made me cry BioWare.

Thanks to my efforts, Tali will have a home in my ending.  It's kinda funny how she says it, sounds alien in my opinion.  It must be her quarian insights, they certainly come in handy.  In ME1, she warned me about those salarians on Virmire.  In ME2, she warned me about the trial and about legion.  Were it not for her, I might have rewrote the geth and released the indoctrinated salarians.  Liara might be wise, but Tali has intelligence and insight.  And a very healthy heart.

Plus several adopted children. And tali trying to fix the geth... (hacket and catylist said its possible.

Hey Tali Fans!
We have just finished Act 1 of our comic “The Secrets of the mysterious Relic”

Image IPB

There are many brilliant story-arcs within the rich Mass Effect universe and we decided to tell one of them: A story that officially “never happened” while Shepard was in Alliance custody.
The Quarian Migrant Fleet found a new Relay in dark space and Tali is sent to assist part of the old Normandy crew on their mission to investigate it’s mysterious destination!

Every info you need: http://social.biowar...ndex/12415448/2
We appreciate every feedback and support!

Hey guys. Whether you liked the EC or not, I decided to incorporate a particular heart wrenching scene from it in my new chapter.

The Wild Heart

I'm sure you'd recognize it if you brought Tali to the final run. =)

I'm a grown man and I cried like a baby. I literally broke down.

The EC wasn't perfect by any stretch, but that scene had a huge emotional payoff. The likes of which was sorely lacking before.

It is indeed their last goodbye. Because they'll never have to say good bye to each other in my case after Shepard survives and reunites with her.

Still, I nearly cried about that scene.

The ec certainly made me shed tears. I nearly did when I saw tali covered in her own blood and at the departure. I definately did at the memorial wall. I don't think the music had as big of a role as it did in me1 with the emotional ending that had, but I guess it mattered. The scene of tali by the memorial wall had much meaning.

I hate synthesis and all space magic, so no.

Tbh I would go with adoption, they war will leave alot of orphans out there especially on Earth. I imagine the Quarians are good at taking care of their own.

That said, maybe Tali would like to experience having a child of her own, so donar spern would happen. It is a magical thing that she may feel she would not want to miss out on.

I think that atleast one of their kids would be doner.

A donor named shepard.

But I don't really think so. It makes far more sense that the long, drawn out struggle against the reapers left all your squadmates with issues, making becoming parents a low priority. Shepard has been fighting for too long to stop now.

That is true, as much as I would want that home on rannoch, part of me says that Shepard and Tali are too active to sit around for long.

I do think a few months, or years on rannoch would be nice though. Then back to the Normandy.

I specifically remember a duologue option where Shepard says he wants to settle down after the Reapers in both the first, second and third game.
I do see both Tali and Shepard not sitting around doing nothing. They are still young and have plenty of energy, and friends spread across the galaxy. They have a nice, full life ahead of them.
Maybe they can host a travel show and live off the earnings?

I happen to know many retired military and most of them have settled into very VERY happy family lives. As one put it to me, after seeing so much death and destruction, a simple, quiet life was all he wanted. That was about 20 years ago and to this day, his is still happily married and at peace.
With everything Tali has been through, I can easily see her raising a family and tinkering in a specially designed explosion proof bunker in her spare time. All the while, Shepard would just be relaxing either watching Tali tinker or chasing after the (adopted) kids.
I do admit, a few of my vet friends still try to be active but they never married and, for the most part, live rather lonely lives. That is not something I want for Tali or Shepard.
