Id really love to see a tribute on this one. Id do it myself but unfortunatly as my basic military training starts tomorrow I don't have the time.
Anyway, looking forward to whatever the outcome will be.

And while I'm at it (and I'm throwing this out to anyone) has anyone done any fan art of Shepard and Tali reuiniting? Maybe Shepard is taking down his name from the normandy's memorial or something? Preferably something with default Shepard?
What I'd like to do with it is maybe have that as a way of showing Shep and Tali reuiniting. In the EC, because you can't see Tali smile at the end, it kinda takes away some of the "Oh, she thinks Shepard's alive!" feeling. I thought maybe ending with some fan art might work better.
Umm, no offense to your friend... but does Tali really need a bra under her enviro-suit?SPARTAN 089-Gary wrote...

Even as a Liaramancer I am curious... Did BioWare fix Tali's portrait in the EC? Or is it still lame? :/

They did not change the photo at all. I had left myself in front of it to check before starting Cronos for the EC.

Working on a happy ending with Tali after Shepard chooses the Control option. Should be pretty short when finished. Enjoy. Feedback please!

Well in my POV, "Control ending" and "happy ending" can't be in the same sentence......
Let's see......

Anyone else still really depressed at the lack of happiness for Tali, she loses her father and then her best friend and lover.
Fanfiction isn't cutting it for me.

High EMS destroy gives them the reunion chance, even if we do not get to see it ourselves in game.

That's the ending I got, including the breath scene.
However, I don't want implications. I want to see them actually get to build that home on Rannoch. I feel like they ruined the few things in things in the game that made up for all the sadness.

I agree with you on that. It would have been expectionally nice if the very last part of the ending showed a final cinematic for each LI but we are stuck with what we have.
Personally I never would have ended the trilogy with these 3 choices, the final mission should have simply been on the citadel, a very epic, tense and down to the wire finale with TIM as a mini boss - a final struggle versus Harbinger and the crucible simply firing and killing the reapers. No need for the geth and EDI to die.
I would have just designed it to end based on how you played it. On one end, the reapers can win, middle of the road bittersweet, Shepard and some crew die but can still achieve victory for the galaxy. Best ending, everyone walks out of it like a boss, but as a player you would need to work pretty hard for it. The game would have taken earlier choices and EMS into account.
And in the end, Shepard/Tali's cinematic would have been Shepard putting the final touches on the house, bringing Tali over with his hands on her mask to unveil the home as a surprise and then scooping her up and carrying her over the threshold into their home. That's my head canon.

That's mine too, but it isn't doing it for me.
I write massive campaigns for my local D&D group and if a player chooses to explore romantic avenues, I include good and bad outcomes for the end of the game for that player to achieve based on his decisions and performance.
I never get to have the story told to me, I am always the storyteller and for once I was having a great story told to me. The only problem is, I wasn't given the option to pursue different outcomes. If it meant getting 100% completion on all games and DLC, no deaths in the suicide mission and saving the Geth, than I would have done it to get that very simple cutscene.
Now, I feel like my character was a douche and not a paragon. That a true paragon would not have loved her openly, and despite his internal pain, allow her to find love elsewhere, so that she did not have to deal with the pain of a loss with a best friend and lover.

This is exactly what I wanted from the ending tbh. But bioware had to go all artsy and crap, trying to make a message of the ending rather than go for customer satisfaction.
That said though I don't think I would have liked an ending where everyone survived, I would prefer something closer to Virmire - choose who lives. Would make the decision harder if it was between youself and a squadmate. My only issue with the suicide mission is that everyone can survive.
A single still image would be nice for each LI at the end of the game:
Tali - Shepard and Tali on Rannoch
Garrus - Shepard and Garrus on a beach
Jack - Shepard and Jack dancing in a club
Miranda - Walking together with her sister?
Liara - Blue babies?
Ash - Ash reading Shepard poetry in hospital?
Kaiden - Meeting this parents?
Also I love that picture still.

Pretty much this. Back in Mass Effect 1, I had no real preference when it came to my squadmates, whatever seemed to work best in the situation. By ME3, it was Garrus and Tali, everytime.
Tali was Shepard's everything, even if he didn't always show it. There was nothing he wanted more than to build beach-house on Rannoch, with Garrus living next door.(In walking distance of the bar of course xD)
It was the only reason he picked destroy over synthesis, because he couldn't stand to be apart from her again. It was the hardest decision he ever had to make, but he made it for her.
"I will come back Tali...I promise."

I am putting my extensive DMing experience to good use and writing a fan fiction of what happens after the breath scene to try to ease the pain, but it still won't be the same. It's like we wake up every day to this crappy planet and economy where no matter how hard you try, everything can't go wrong, even real life relationships are bumpy. That was the point of fantasy and a fantasy game, to escape the day to day with a nice story.
My nice story was crapped on by BioWare.
