A real shame they didn't reunite Shepard and Tali. That ruined the ending for me. Hate the way they left us to speculate like that, it wouldn't be that hard to show a cinematic of Shepard and Tali in their home on Rannoch. Would have given the ending the closure and happiness it desperately needed. Such a shame.

A simple reunion scene would be enough. Consider that they could also decide to stay together aboard the Normandy.

Anything would be better than what they gave us already. Any sort of reunion would have made me happy, doesn't matter how long or where it occured. Just too much left to speculate.

Got a point. Wouldn't have caused too much harm since the original ending contained space magic, massive plot holes and didn't make any sense. Would have been minor damage to that already messed up ending. With the EC ending it probably wouldn't fit though because they managed to fix most of the problems.

Same here. I remember my main problem with the ending was that the Normandy was stranded and the Mass Relays were destroyed... Luckily those things have been remedied and Bioware added plenty of closure and a great epilogue. Also I loved that one new scene before you go up to the citadel. So glad I took Tali on that last mission.

thing I was wrong, but only because I had a high enough EMS. I feel bad
for anyone that brought their LI to only see them get torched.

I was wondering if they add the scene where your squadmates would get incinerated with not enough EMS, when the cutscene popped out I almost "Alt+F4-ed" the game.
Luckily I got one of the most moving TaliShep dialogues instead.

As for EC in general, I can't say it fixed everything that bothered me, the God-child for example, which they never planned to get rid off sadly. But since I mostly wanted a happy ending for Tali and Shep, which we got in a way, I can tolerate the rest.
I take what I can get with ME3 now.

Hmm, seems like Tairis has a similar concept to my own planned ME3 fanfic (having the Rannoch arc occur after the Genophage arc, but before the Citadel Coup plot).


On an additional sidenote that I've noticed with quite a few fanfics that I've been checking out recently.... why the hell do so many fanfic authors who write a Shepard/Tali story always have Shepard involved with Liara before starting a romance with Tali?
