I wrote this in a message to another user, thought I would share my view here even though it does not pertain directly to Tali or the quarians.Ticonderoga117 wrote...
I still don't see how the Geth died. They're code! So the red wave targetted 1's and 0's? Please.
A program cannot be 'reaper tech' in any way. If I write a program to
add 1+1 and the reapers already did it, then how do you distinguish
between the two? All that can be distinguished is the hardware it is
run on. If you look at code, can you tell me which specific compiler
generated the code if there is no header information? If you say yes, I
will doubt you.
As to the hardware. If I design a transistor
and it operates exactly the same way a transistor operates that you
designed, how can you tell the difference unless you can read the code
imprinted on the case. Again, you cannot. If I make a control module
for a robot motor assembly, even if based off of a design by another, it
is not made by the other person but myself. Therefore it is not their
hardware but mine.
No matter how you cut it, the endings are even
worse than anything I would write, though some would believe my stories
are almost as bad.
If the destroy ending did target Reaper code specifically, then yes, the geth can be rebuilt/restored to their previous selves. Of course, the question then becomes, would the quarians do so?

Well. Now it seems there is a reason to play Skyrim. I would follow Tali through the omega Relay, past the perseus veil, to Skyrim itself!bigCman123 wrote...
If anybody is interested I made some quarian eyes and facepaint for Skyrim (for personal use), and uploaded them to Skyrim Nexus.

Yeah, I pretty much had the same thought since I'm getting a Computer Science degree. *shrug*
Anyway, I would think they would. The Geth were doing miracles for them. Namely with the suits. Why wouldn't they?

Quarian dancers are valued highly on the floatilla. It makes me wonder what a quarian-themed bar would look and feel like? Tali and Shepard might have to go to one, get a room...and work it out. I'd go for a omega-like theme, but im open for anything quarian. Blue atmosphere, appealing electronic music all over the place, advanced technology...I think it would be a very interesting thing, visiting a quarian bar. The quarians would probably be friendly, and while a few might be curious, and fewer still might be angry at the sight of a human, most would be friendly and welcoming. Quarians have a sense of family among one another.
This I would love to see. Though if it's after Rannoch, I would think they would all throw drinks (not literally) at Shepard because he got them thier homeworld back.
Though, if Tali got to dance in that bar, the Galaxy is screwed because I don't think Shepard would come out.

Shepard already saved the galaxy, no need to worry about that. I'm amazed how much time they spend together in a room. Probably more time than their natural lifespans give them.

In a word? Xen. She, and the faction that follows her beliefs, would do whatever they could to ensure the geth remain robotic slave labor.Ticonderoga117 wrote...

I was REALLY disappointed that Daro'Xen was not dealt with in the game.

I'm surprised so many people hate Xen now. Don't get me wrong, she is crazy, but she does make a point. We can still learn a lot about the geth, but we don't have to brutally experiment them. We could make laws with the geth regarding experimentation, or just find some other way. But...negociation with her might not be a good idea. It might be easier to listen to what Tali says and act on it. 90% of the time, Tali is right. But in the 10% that she's wrong, Shepard can step in and make things all better for her. But im willing to bet that despite my ideas that we can learn more from the geth without enslaving them or being savages to them, there just isn't a way...

Yeah, too bad she can't dance like Kelly in game.
I guess this will suffice...

I always did. She rubbed me wrong in ME2, and a ton in ME3.
Would've been nice to have a quest dealing with her in some manner.
I agree with you Forth that we can learn from the Geth without being jerks. We can just ask and not be Xen pretty much.

Rather glad Tali can NOT dance like Kelly. One trollop aboard the Normandy was quite enough.JesseLee202 wrote...

When Tali dances like that, she's not a trollop! *Monocle adjust*

You do know I meant just dancing in general; Kelly is the only one that can dance in Shep's cabin...

If you guys forget, IN THE ORIGINAL SCRIPT for the Xen War Asset were a few lines for a situation where Shepard had to arrest or to KILL her !
So, the thought was there just.........cut out !

Pretty sure the motivation for cutting that out of ME3 was the same as New Vegas cutting out the encounter with Benny ambushing the Courier if the former is freed by the latter from Caesar's camp.Tom80 wrote...

Namely: not making the character look like a moron.
The net result is that Xen was never a mad scientist, merely an eccentric genius who had/has the same morals as Chakwas, aka those of an anti-synthetic racist. Most likely had.

The only location I remember though was McDonalds, and it was pretty disgusting there. It was completely empty on the customer side, but the place was a mess. The restrooms were messy even though I don't remember visiting them, there was water spilled all over one of the tables that dripped onto the floor, the trash I think was overflowing, and there was even a uneaten wrapped burger sitting on the floor! The place was gross. Fortunately, we didn't stay long, we probably went just to show Tali how bad fast food can be, and left to do other things.
It was wonderful though just to see Tali in one of my dreams. I never thought it would happen, but it did. I wish I remembered more, but I am glad we had a great time together. I look forward to seeing you again in one of my dreams, Tali!

Playing a game where you don't hook up with your favorite LI can make you appreciate the special lines we might otherwise take for granted.

Playing through another Tali LI I got to the part where I speak with her on the Citadel after she does her Ambassador thing with the Turian clerk. Another great example of how it is all in the va delivery is the short LI-specific ending line after Shep's general "The difference is that you helped when it counted." The straightforward "Thanks, Shepard. So did you" for non-LI becomes "The difference...was you." But the way she shakes her head to correct him and emotion in the voice made all the difference.

Talis VA is simply fantastic. I cannot think of a badly delivered line from her. ME1 she just had boringly written ones.
