yes, but i mean Legion in particular. can an individual geth AI be "saved" in something? or transferred wirelessly? just making sure im not contemplating employing space magics.

No.
It's established as early as ME1, in the codex, that an AI's individuality cannot be copied or moved from storage device to storage device. It's a quantum thing, and also why Shepard dies in Control, rather than just becoming an AI.

And all these posts about fanfics remind me why I stopped reading them.
Half of them are fix fics for a problem that BioWare and EA themselves fixed. (Argue if you want, cerebellum thinkers, but that's what I say)
And if and when I write any fics, I will make sure the starchild is in them.

No.

Not so sure this applies to the Geth. The Geth were not true AI, just programs and can be transferred around. After the reaper upgrades.... not sure what they are but they appear to operate on the same platforms so doubt have the quantum blue box.

It's the reason Legion was pretty much an individual even before the upgrades.
They spent several years in the same platform hunting Shepard.
Less hardware hopping = more personality.

The idea of Tali, Garrus, and all the others getting wiped out by the Reapers pretty much renders Refuse null for me.

I picked refuse at first because I thought I was indoctrinated.  But nope, it just dooms the entire galaxy to the reapers, which some could say is the worst outcome possible.  After accidentally picking refuse again, in the end, I had to suck it up, and I picked destroy.  It was nice that they added in actual flashbacks for the characters, and when I saw EDI's flashback, I was like, "NOOOOOOOOOOO!  What am I doing?" and then when I saw Tali's flashback, I was like, "Dawww I hope I see you soon honey."  

The whole time, I wasn't too sure if Shepard would make it out alive.  It was sad.  So so sad.  Seeing Tali with his nametag, hesistant to put it on the wall, it was done well.  But once again, it lacks conclusion.  I do hope that Bioware adds even more to the ending and shows Shepard + Tali united forever together in each other's arms.  A simple breath scene won't do it alone.

I'm afraid that is the stuff of fanfiction and our own imaginations. BioWare seems hellbent on leaving a lot of the ending to player interpretation, even after the Extended Cut.

An extension beyond that breath might have been nice.
But it would not only be forcing character motivation upon people who may want something different, but it would likely guilt trip people who think Control or Synthesis are better. (I don't, but just... don't like other people to be hated based off of principle, manner, or even fetish, if they're not hurting anyone else in the real world - although my gut sometimes disagrees)

Although, I do admit on attempting to shoot the Catalyst first time. My gun jammed, and wouldn't let me shoot him or Destroy the Reapers. I had to reload my save.

Hah, that's true. In-character (or the first time around) it's unwise to trust the Catalyst.
It's actually almost ironic that the Catalyst isn't lying whatsoever. Although Control and Synthesis' epilogues could do with a little more illumination on the downsides, that's pretty much the only problem with the epilogue I have (well, that, and Refuse having the Reapers not discover and destroy Liara's data caches - those should only survive if your EMS is so low that Refuse becomes the best of a plethora of very bad options)

No. Legion sacrificed itself during the Reunification War. His code, his 'personality' has been disbanded, so the Reaper upgraded code and his experience could be disturbed to all Geth.

It's really difficult. I just wrote a chapter that is about 9,000 words long and I've decided that two stories at once is too much. I'm finishing my shorter story and then going back to my long story. This dichotomy in my brain is hard. I have to switch between two worlds. Agh! And Tali is a bit different in both as well as Shepard. The switching is too much.

The entire existence of the Catalyst makes me suspicious, not to mention the fact it somehow takes on the form of the boy Shepard's been hallucinating and dreaming about since the Reapers hit. That's the strongest support for the Indoctrination Theory I've seen so far.

I don't want to turn this into the 9001st debate about that, but the suspicious nature of Little Space Hitler leaves me two real options every time I play: Destroy or Refuse, and like I've said, Refuse is pretty much a no-go for me.

Sergio is busy writing the last couple of chapters as we speak. They are taking a while because Sergio wants to end it so Sergio has all the loose ends to tie up. Not sure what Sergio is doing but whatever it is, it's always been golden.
