It has been proven that if we complain enough Bioware will do something. I'm hoping that with a lot of people clamoring for some more Love Interest stuff bioware will pull through and have some bonus scenes in future DLCs.

Ah, this reminds me of something I saw from another site here.  It certainly doesn't promise anything, but its a unique hint in itself.  If we push them enough...maybe, just maybe...Tali will get the love she needed in the first place.

Hello, does anyone here remember what Tali says about the Geth and Quarians living together after you solve their conflict?

I remember parts like how they would decrease the time for them to adapt to live without their suits.

Tali is surprised at how fast the geth are helping them rebuild.  They're even helping quarians adapt to the air.  Not to mention she says she would have been wrong if she killed the geth, and thanks Shepard.  Shepard says to let him know if she uploads a geth in her suit, and she says, "Ha!  No, the only person that gets into this suit, is you."

If so, I hope Shepard says "I love you", or at least says something caring. Shepard's lines to Tali (and lack of lines) have been absolutely terrible, for the most part, in my opinion. Hers are good. His are not, even with extended cut.

You should talk to Javik more. He mentions something about a similar occurance in his cycle. The synthetic will never leave the suit because it is their home and the organic inside will eventually become a slave.

I don't remember exactly how he said it but when I heard Tali mention about Quarians uploading the Geth to their suits I was like "Noooo!!!!"

I will agree, they are lacking.  But some of them can be good.

The one controversal one is during the EC.  Shepard can say to Tali, "I need you to make it out of this one Tali.  Get back to Rannoch.  Build yourself a home."  I'm not too sure how to interpret that.

But the one I like the most from him is, "Will you stay here with me?  Until the call comes?"  is really good, especially with the look of desperation in his eyes.  Best line from Shepard.

Meh, it was probably Javik being a troll.  I liked how he talked about the Zha'til and how they had to make their sun go supernova.  Javik wants to make Rannoch's star go supernova, and Garrus wants to drop a asteroid on Rannoch.    What's next?  James wants to crash a volus dreadnaught into Rannoch and deteonate the eezero reactor on it as well?

I see the line "I need you to make it out of this one Tali. Get back to Rannoch. Build yourself a home" as much more powerful then simply saying "I will always love you" as Shepard says to the other LIs. In that line Shepard expresses how much Tali means to him, that as long as he knows she is going to survive he can accept whatever fate in instore for him. By telling Tali to go build herself a home, Shepard is expressing/telling Tali that no mater what happens to him, he wants to see her happy...atleast thats how I see it.

Regarding the issue of an  "I love you" line from Shep to Tali, note that when you do the initial good-bye to Tali before the second round of battles on Earth, Shep at the end of the conversation leans in and it seems to me he was about to mirror what she said to him at the end of Rannoch (the "...if we don't make it...I love you").. But she already knows he does, literally saying "I know" before he could finish what he was about to say. This is after she says the well-regarded "more time" line, then he says "I know. Whatever happens..."

Another one.

:D

And honestly i'm ok with Shepard actually not saying "I love you" to Tali would it have been nice? Sure. But does a guy who has done everything that Shepard has for Tali really need to tell her that he loves her? He showed her more than enough times heh. Tbh when I was playing my Ashmance the words were just said way too much. Don't get me wrong the romance was good but them saying it over and over got somewhat stale...

Eh that's how I feel about this whole thing at least. One thing I will agree with though is that Shepards lines could've been better during the actual romance scene. The paragon option at least. It's probably why I never pick it. lol. His response to hers was...well didn't seem to fit. Yes yes I understand he just had a nightmare but he had that same nightmare with everyone else.

I haven't really been posting here often enough recently, but I read your story as soon as I saw it in my inbox.  You are skilled in your display of the characters and their emotions, and you have a great aftermath plot.  Given this, I won't blame you for the massive cliff-hanger, especially since it's only your third chapter.  Keep it up!

Was that...was that purple filter there in the original cutscene? Cuz I don't remember that. :o

Also, thanks for the comment on my story, appreciated.

THE LEGENDARY POUNCE!!!

Worth the sixty dollars alone! Definitely one of the best scenes in the Mass Effect series.

Yeah, I don't get it why a lot of people don't seem to see it either.

Assuming Weekes also wrote Shepard's dialogue whenever it had to do with Tali, his choice of using words with deeper meanings between the two and their particular romance was much stronger then constantly using "I love you, I love you too" over and over.

I only ever had a problem with one line of dialogue and it was that really flat "Thanks" at the end of the romance night especially in response to what Tali says before it.

Definitely struck me that Tali's romance is written much better than any other characters', even if Liara is shoved in your face a lot of the time and is clearly meant to be the 'canon' love interest.

(seriously, why some people have such a hard time seeing these elements present in the Shepard/Tali romance is beyond me.... :?)

The same reason there are people who hate the EC endings (other than possibly real-life trauma triggers or having got into the series via ME2's "save everyone" ability)
They can't be bothered to read between the lines and see that the "plot holes" are actually Fridge Brilliance.

Liara is the most popular romance. She gets the most content. It's simple maths. Stop complaining, it was listening to the fans that made this romance possible in the first place.

Needs less complaining about other people's pies being more beloved by the crowd than yours, and more hugs.

I guess my wording didn't help, but I didn't intend to complain. Sorry for any misunderstanding. I respect people's choice in love interests.

Yeah, I just don't like when poor Liara gets that CoD treatment.
"oh whaaah it's soooo popular it must suck the most"
Call of Duty doesn't suck, and neither does Liara's romance.
But I don't like either of them.

Not to get hugely off topic on this, but my only real issue with the Liara romance when I played through it (well, aside from the excessive 3-4 minute love scene that none of the other LIs got....) was having to commit to her as a LI for a 3rd damn time <_< seriously, Liara, I've already committed to you TWICE in this friggin' series, I shouldn't have to keep telling you that you're the only one for me and that I wanna be more than just friends! :pinched:

(plus the bug that pretends that the LotSB romance/recommitment never happened annoys the hell out of me, Gibbed modding be damned...)

Yeah, the LotSB DLC be buggy. It's not ME3's fault.
And that triple confirmation is more for the player. Anyone thinking "lol VS ninjamance"?

Oh, and posting this video again. If you haven't already seen it, check it out. This goes for everyone. You won't regret it.
