Is this from a PC save file? Is this possible otherwise?

Chapter 6 of my fic is up. Sadly, like the two previous chapters, there is no Shepard and Tali content this time; though next chapter will finally return to the plot-thread that is revolves around them.

Yeah, PC. I don't know if you can do that in consoles.

Can you even take her to a regular citadel mission in ME3?

What is a regular Citadel mission? Fetch quests?

While we're on the subject of Tali mission availability, it still pisses me off that we can only add her to our team so late in the game (in ME2 and ME3, anyway). ME3 in particular, it felt like I'd just started adding her to my squad when suddenly the game was over.

Meanwhile, we get James Vega from the get-go.

....James Vega.

Who is he anyways? Was he in a ME3 comic or something?

Anyways.

Getting James near the end? Hell no. He's the new guy, and needs all the screentime he can get.
Recruiting Tali earlier in ME3? No, and no. We don't need the plot structure snapped in half, thank you.
In 2? Yeah, please. The two-halfiness of the recruitment is arbitrary as-is.

What do you mean? The Quarian/Geth situation seems more dire than the Genophage situation. The Genophage could be fixed in a snap. A war that could potentialy nullify two assests seems more important. And anything with Tali in it can't break a plot structure.  <3

The war doesn't start until after the Cerberus coup on the Citadel.
If you leave the Genophage plotline, Cerberus will do something reckless, like kill Bakara or destroy the Shroud.
Take your Tali lovin' glasses off (hard as it is) and actually look at the situation.

IMO, Tuchanka and Rannoch should have been done Feros/Noveria style. Pick where you want to go first. It also seems weird to jump back and forth between sidequests and the priority missions.

What does that matter to a Renegade Shep who killed Wrex and destroyed the cure from ME2?

But lets get back on topic.

What do you think Tali's favorite shotgun is? I think it's the Geth Plasma Shotgun.

I agree.  I was expecting something like Dragon Age: Origins.  Gather all of the allies in your own order, you know.  I would have gotten Tali ASAP, then Garrus, then Tuchanka.

It matters because Admiral Hackett told you to do it.
Also, her favourite shotgun likely requires minimal aiming. Because her headshot-getting skill is almost nonexistent. :P

Well, a lot of the time she's seen using the Scimitar - for example, at the end of her recruitment mission on Haestrom a Scimitar is propped up on the wall next to the console she's typing on. Also, the new Tali Play Art figure has her holding a Scimitar...so I'd take a guess and say her favourite shotgun is the Scimitar, lol.

Me personally though, I always give her the Wraith simply because it matches her alternate outfit. It's funny when I consider the fact that I never use the Wraith at all myself (imho I don't think it's that great of a weapon) so what i've essentially done is spend over 200,000 credits on a gift for Tali =P Totally worth it though!

She stole Shepard's heart, and refuses to give it back! She also drinks juice distilled from Rannoch's natural fruits in an emergency induction port.
Despite having atrocious headshot accuracy, she can still pounce things. Offensive applications, limited.
Romantic ones? Weeeelll.... <3

I believe officially the quarians start attacking the geth before the Reapers even arrive at Earth. It just bogs down after the Reapers arrive and make the offer to the geth.

In all likelyhood, the mission order was restricted simply to limit xbox 360 disc swapping, just in like game 2.

No. Take off your romance-coloured glasses for once, hard as it is.
The preparations for the war last during Tuchanka and the coup. The war itself lasts a few days, after Cerberus' attempted coup before the Reaper intervenes (against the Catalyst's own philosophy, no less - that flawed AI )

There are a lot of invisible, unnoted fade-to-black timeskips in the game.
And for the last friggin' time, squadmates in this game don't have any dialog for missions they can't be in "legally" unlike in 2. Plus, both Tuchanka and Rannoch are on disc 2.

So, yeah. Dead wrong. It would break the plot, end of story. You really can't justify doing Rannoch first, because then both Tuchanka and Palaven burn. There is no way around this.

Plus, it gives the added benefit of making sure we don't get too much Tali. The last thing I want is her becoming Wesley Snipes 2.0.

Lol if swapping discs 30 times would mean I could get to Tali earlier, I'd do it.

And Kopper, too much Tali? More like too much VS.

"U r Cerberus?" "U SURE u not cerberus" "Trust me U cerberus lol" " I trust Udina more than u lol"
