Well, that and it's a long-range "Boomstick of Doom" with a 5-shot clip, innate armor-piercing, and huge damage.BrysonC wrote...

Anyone here like to leave some feedback on my latest chapter? I'd really appreciate it!
There was some great banter in that chapter and I had fun reading it. Was nice to see some levity in your story, because from what I'd read a while back, it seemed like some pretty heavy stuff.
If I can make ONE suggestion, it's to make sure you don't lapse from past tense into present tense anymore. That can be a little jarring, lol.

Thank you so much man! I do happen to like your story as well.
And yeah, I do notice that I have a few issues while I'm writing my chapters. Which is why I should probably get a beta reader for my story. Though I'm not entirely sure how the beta reader thing works, maybe someone can walk me through that?

Tali's knuckles appear to be significantly thicker than the rest of her fingers, which would make rings a bad idea.Tali Nar Shepahard vas normandy wrote...
Does anyone think quarians don't use rings for marriage. I think they would use bracelets.
Dunno about bracelets though.

Do quarians even get married? Is that a thing for them? I don't recall ever hearing one quarian refer to a husband or wife.
And even if they do have a formal commitment between spouses, I don't see any reason to assume that they use jewelry to symbolize that commitment...

Tali might of conformed to the traditions of humans (or at least certain ones) or they simply may of just enjoyed each others love for one another and not need anything other then what is spoken between them to signify anything. We will likely never know and can only speculate.

This game is hardly linear, you know. Well, except the main plotline, but even that is more of a zigzag road then a straight one.

Also pictures.

I can't remember where but I think they have some sort of bonding ceremony. Quarians used to be and still try to be ver religous, so some sort of bonding is highly possible. They probably don't give jewelry when they were on the flotilla, but now on Rannoch its possible.

Perhaps the pattern on their suit changes when they are married? Never seen two Quarian bondmates together from what I remmeber.

Seems it's up to us to come up with our own rules for quarian bonding. :x I like to think that their form of 'marriage' would at least be very different from ours.
Considering how family orientated and tight-knit Quarian society is, I imagine the basic concept of marriage is closer to our own old fashion one - two people united for life.
It takes a huge amount of trust to link suits, and since you are tied to a ship, you cannot mess around without becoming a social outcast. Add on to that the cultural attribute of self-sacrifice, and I doubt many people cheat or leave eachother.

While we're on the subject of fics...Chapter 4 of mine has been posted, for anyone who's interested.
Tali, Wrex, and Grunt uniting after all this time. It's good to see that. Also, good touch throwing in the trademark Wrex-headbutt, wouldn't be much of an inclusion without that.

And I have always thought quarians to be monogamous, and I have also thought that the quarians on the Migrant Fleet are/were rather commited and loyal to their partners, due to their situation and due to the need for trust between all the shipmates.
Pretty much basing this view on the feeling I have got from the culture on the Migrant Fleet from codex, games, books and such, and from what Tali has talked about her people: "Bonds between my people are strong.", like she said back in ME1

Still, suprisingly happy and uplifting chapter nevertheless. Or at least that's how I felt at the end.
