I don't like ME3 Garrus. He's too much of a... "IM YOUR BRO SHEPARD ACCEPT IT" for me. It freaks me out.

Plus there's the whole Tali thing. Even if it was in an alternate universe, GARRUS IS DEAD TO ME because of that.

Yes make fun of me all you want but Kaidan is my bro. I don't need someone constantly reminding Shep of how awesome they are :x. I like Kaidans chill not really in your face atitude. Plus he loves steak too! ;p

But yeah I really don't want to start anything so i'll drop it we all have our favorites i'll leave it at that.

I always thought of Garrus' and Tali's relationship as siblings that poke fun at each other much of the time. So that's why I have a hard time believing that those two would ever hook up (no pun intended).
Garrus is my favorite male squadmate and mine/everyone's bro, but as soon as he gets near my Tali with hanky-panky in mind, all bets are off.

I've seen far worse... This picture here was made after ME3 came out by someone disapointed my Tali's human appearance... There were many people on Deviantart who really like it alot. Sure it's look like plenty of work and skill was put into it but... I'd rather have a bromance with Garrus... or Wrex or something less scary looking.


I also remember someone suggesting that Tali should have a beak. Please no.

Actually I since I haven't played Mass Effect 1 (however I bought it cheap during a steam sale) I never got to know Kaiden. I actually picked Ash over Kaiden during the comic thing for the PS3 version of Mass Effect 2.

I'll eventually play through Mass Effect 1 and make a real decision of who should live. I may just go with Kaiden since I never got to know him.

Kaidan is a nice enough guy (if a bit bland) and I honestly don't mind either way if it is he or Ash that survives Virmire, but since BioWare made him swing both ways in ME3...it kinda makes some of the conversations he has with my straight MaleShep pretty awkward.

I often felt at times that I was one dialogue option away from an accidental romance...I mean, the hospital, for example: "are you flirting with me, Commander?" and Shepard just smiles back o.0 Kaidan's great, but I always wait until I've locked back in with Tali before I initiate any meaningful conversations with him. Am I over-reacting here?

Here's a question for you guys, which VS does Tali have the better relationship with? Kaidan or Ash?

Yeaaah, BioWare really should have made it harder for BroShep to lead Kaidan on. I always choose the Paragon options in conversations, meaning I'm always nice to everyone, including him...which of course ends with him thinking you might be interested, and coming onto you at dinner. >_>

Still like Kaidan a lot, though. I saved Ashley my first playthrough like a lot of people, but I chose Kaidan the next time, and haven't chosen Ashley for any other playthroughs. She's not nearly as likeable.

Although maybe part of the reason why I never get him flirting with me is as soon as the Citadel Coup is over, I race over to the Perseus Veil to pick up Tali and then immediately have the conversation with her in Shepard's cabin to continue the relationship  (that also seems to lock out the other characters as romance options and reverts them to being in the "friend-mode")

Yeah, being a completionist does have its downsides doesn't it?
Still, I choose to be safe just in case I end up getting locked into it by picking the renegade option at the last dialogue circle when the "dinner date" occurs.

Pretty much what this guy said. I constanly visitd him in the hospital and even gave Kaidan the booze and he still never hit on my maleshep...Or if he did I definitely didn't notice heh. Gay/bi Kaidan doesn't exist to me lol.

I don't think anyone is hating on or bashing Kaidan or his potential gay romance in this thread. I'm definitely not. But it IS a little awkward when he hits on you at dinner. In a funny way more than in a "eww" way.

I had the dinner scene with Kaidan after the events in Rannoch, and I didn't notice him trying to hit on Shepard in any way. Might have something to do with the romance lock-ins.

Also, some lower right denial options aren't always that renegady, although I did feel kind of bad when the only way, or at least it seems like it, to avoid romance with Cortez was to choose the "Eyecandy on the stage" line in the bar. Pretty sure that Tali wouldn't approve if she heard that
