I find it odd that while Shepard sleeps, Tali stays awake...does she ever sleep?  ^_^

When I first played 2 and 3, I never gave much attention to Tali the quarians in general. But in other playthroughs she really grew on me. Definitely my canon for maleshep LI.

I can relate to that. I didn't really 'notice' Tali until my second playthrough. She's a refined taste. ;)

Not only that, looking back now my intire first playthrough was really lame compared to my new ones. I have this game since release day and only now after months on MP I got back to ME2 to do a insanity run and pretty much change everything... so much better with Tali and a paragon Shep. I mean, I dated Ashley the first time. Ashley, the most boring, backstabbing piece of s*** girlfriend if you think of it.

Indeed, i'm sad to admit that I actually ignored Tali in my first ever playthrough of ME1. I was originally an Ashmancer (or whatever they call themselves) for the most part...Then when I saw Tali on freedoms progress for the first time I was like "oh hey I remember her! Kinda...". After the whole Horizon nonsense my Shep was /sadface then I found out you could romance Tali. And that was that.

I ended up playing through ME1 again after all that and went from anti alien to Tali, Wrex and Liara becoming my favs lol. Granted I still like Ash just not as much as I use to...

I can relate to THAT, too. On my first playthrough, I romanced Miranda just because it was the game's most 'obvious' romance. I didn't even realize you could romance others until I'd locked in Miranda as my LI. I played Vanguard without even realizing I had biotic powers (although I blame that on being unfamiliar with the PS3 controller). I messed up Zaeed's loyalty mission and Kasumi died during my attack on the Collector base.

Yeah, me too. Tali kept dying on the Collector's Base for some reason, even loyal. I almost went with it, and I'll admit to my shame that I only did it again for the sake of the No One Left Behind trophy, since I didn't care for her very much. Now I can't even imagine the third game without her.

I think the very first time I ever played ME2 I was a bit overwhelmed by all the classes and the customization in general, I played as a Sentinel because my friend said that "tech armor is really good". Makes me wonder what people miss playing these games only once.

I always loved Tali as a character, ever since the first game on Xbox 360. I bought it about 2 weeks before ME2 was set to release, so I managed to play them pretty much back-to-back. I created multiple saves before the Collector Base so I could romance Miranda and Tali, but in the end I deleted the Miranda one. My choice is reaffirmed by the Extended Cut, where you send your squadmates back onto the Normandy () and Tali pleads with such dispair for you to not leave her.

Ash Sroka did such an amazing job with the voicing of Tali throughout the trilogy, that I just can't bring myself to choose any other character as a Love Interest.

I remember the time that I found out that I could romance Tali. Was doing Thane's loyalty mission, when I decided to take a look at the wiki for Tali. I scrolled down toward the bottom of the page, and I saw the romance sub-section. Clicked the red X, loaded it up, put the mission on hold, and sure enough I could. I was a happy man that day.

I played ME2 not knowing about the story at all, and when I found out I could romance Tali... She was my first romance in ME2.

I played ME2 first, I heard that you can have a romantic interest, and etc. And as soon as I saw her, I knew that I will go for her. I was very displeased when she told me that she does not come with me, but I was very happy later. :)

First playthrough in ME 1 I had romanced Liara, and come ME 2 I had believed that I would try to stay faithful.  When I found that Tali could be romanced and Liara gave me the cold shoulder, I found myself more and more just bringing Tali along for her dialogue, story, etc.  Her loyalty mission clinched it for me, and I've never looked back since.  Even started a new playthrough in which I didn't romance anyone in ME 1, just to wait for Tali in 2.

I tried not to do that, but it's so difficult to get out of it. I don't want to be a d*** to the team, but it's practically the only way to avoid that.
Still, at least when I get to ME3 there's gonna be some interesting dialogue from Ashley.

I started mass effect 1 in 2009, and I never once romanced someone in it. Ash is annoying, Kaidan is radioactive dust, and Liara reminded me of my little sister, so it was very creepy. Plus, I had always hoped Tali would be romanceble. I didn't even know she was in 2, because I hate spoilers, and sure enough, after talking to her, I found out she LOVED Shep. The game had achieved godhood.

Guys. If we're not careful, the Mirimancer thread is going to overtake this one in page count.

We gotta...I dunno...step up our game, here.

I really don't understand how the bond chick can overtake Tali.

I'd like to point out that while the Mirimancer thread might be close in page count it gets its arse kicked in page views. This page has a crap ton of views...of course it's the Tali page so that's only logical.
