I'd never seen that scene before... BECAUSE I WOULD NEVER  LET TALI DIE, YOU MONSTER! 

I once accidentily started this by siding with Tali to destroy the geth, the choosing to let Legion upload the codes. Once I realised it wasn't going to give me the option to persuade the Quarians to cease-fire, I Alt-F4'ed.

Heh as sad as that scene is.

I'm not sure I agree... When Tali is romanced and commits suicide Shepard has no reaction to it at all... Where as Miranda's death scene when romanced was much more emotional since both parties had a reaction to each other.

I didn't romance Miranda but I almost felt like it when she died lol.

Cuz of the music? Haha. Was kinda weird that it plays the ME2 romance music even when you didn't romance her lol.

Oh yeah forgot to add that Ashley actually has the most emotional response to Tali's death. It sounded like she was gonna break down in tears... Where as Shepards like yeah whatever I have to move on when he is the one who romanced her...   ;;

I'm playing catchup on the thread today. Went to bed early last night so my wife and I could watch the meteor shower.

In response to an earlier conversation:

Played ME2 first - was told, quite vehemently, "PICK FEMSHEP. JENNIFER HALE IS BEST SHEPARD."

Then met Tali and wanted to know if I could romance her. Found I couldn't. Had to restart....sadly, I was pretty far in when I did. Couldn't bring myself to finish the game as femshep when I found out I had to be male-shep to get the best LI.

I think Tali would resemble the Draenei from World of Warcraft just without the Tail, horns, and goat feet everything else resembles her kind perfectly possible skin colors, eyes, legs, body.

I got this impression as well. Also a bit like Tieflings from the Forgotten Realms series. I think it is those eyes.

Ha yes! This is exactly what I thought as well. I wouldn't have minded if she resembled the Draenei a bit more. The horns could've worked too since you know turians have those things on the back of their head. Well at least the ones that go off to the side rather than straight up.. ;p I could do without the face tentacles tho. But they even have similar accents and everything! Dammit and now I miss WoW...

Well, atleast the canon quarian appearance is still more alien then Asari are... they have the whole different legs, different hands, slightly different body proportions, glowing silver eyes, weird lines on their faces, and skin color thing going; while Asari are just blue humans with tentacle heads

The bachelor party conversation on Illium in ME2 addresses that. Its possible Asari are telepathically controlling or shapeshifters of some sort.

They wouldn't be able to do that through a television though, so it would do no good. And compared to quarians, they are ALOT more alien.
