Have you actually been diagnosed with Autism/Asperger's Syndrome, or are you just using those disorders as an excuse?CommanderBadass wrote...
Apologies for the double post, but I'm autistic and alone, Tali's all I got.that's why I obsess over her. Asperger's Syndrome...and being Cold & Alone.

if shes in the movie, hopefully she is voiced by Ash Sroka.sora-chan wrote...
There's a Mass Effect movie in the works, right? I'll be curious to see what Tali ends up looking like, and how her character's handled.
...
It would be too much to ask for her to be the designated LI for the movie, wouldn't it?

The shy, adorable engineer who turns out to be a great fighter who has Heroic Shepard's back along with his trusty pal Garrus in any situation, who's face is revealed in the romantic climax right before the final battle? Sounds like movie gold to me.
But no, blue T&A will probably win. Meaning no disrespect to Liara, but plenty of disrespect that it will indeed focus on the T&A aspect, and not portray her character in the slightest. All for the best though, it's a rushjob of a movie meant to milk some money, nothing more.

I sense some deeply buried cynicism.I totally agree. Most directors would probably turn their noses up at our lovable Chicken-Footed Alien.
(I have no idea what T&A is, by the way. Humor me with an explanation?)
This is less the case in ME2. When we see an actual asari-dominated world, it's clear enough that being attractive isn't universal.Because you can be sure a member of the race of completely-female aliens who all have looks considered quite attractive to the majority of humans

On topic... maybe the announcement coming up has some Tali news in it.
Well, they all use the same, attractive, body model, but a few have less than wholly attractive faces.Huh? I haven't seen any Asari that I'd call unattractive...

Because you see, two of my four siblings have autism, and it's more than a bit insulting when people use the disorders to excuse their anti-social and obsessive behavior.

I am mildy amused at this.
Agreed. Good luck to whomever would take the role of Tali.Swordfish56 wrote...
If Tali is even in the Mass Effect movie (yes, I do believe that Hollywood is capable of excising key characters from any intellectual property they get their hands on), I fully expect to be disappointed by her portrayal. I just don't have a lot of confidence in 'porting' video games into movies.
