im trying to stay focused on mainly Tali but i have aspergers syndrome and i dont have it that bad only things that i dont usually do are call friends or hangover at other houses and i dont talk to many people

There's a Mass Effect movie in the works, right?  I'll be curious to see what Tali ends up looking like, and how her character's handled.

It would be too much to ask for her to be the designated LI for the movie, wouldn't it?

Cool, but it would just be a stripped-down version of the game that way, so I doubt it. 

If there's romance at all, I would expect they'd only give one LI the spotlight.

But no, blue T&A will probably win. Meaning no disrespect to Liara, but plenty of disrespect that it will indeed focus on the T&A aspect, and not portray her character in the slightest. All for the best though, it's a rushjob of a movie meant to milk some money, nothing more.

it would be movie gold but usually they kill the game/book of whatever they got the idea from to make some money and then later angry fans would attack whoever made the movie's place.

I sense some deeply buried cynicism.  I totally agree.  Most directors would probably turn their noses up at our lovable Chicken-Footed Alien.
(I have no idea what T&A is, by the way.  Humor me with an explanation?)

As is the same with most other media, I'm afraid. Just look at CoD, or the new trilogy of Halo (I'm going to guess). Or 99% of music being released since record companies started. Or since good special effects happened so we can  be distracted from the bad plot of a "good" movie.

If Tali is even in the Mass Effect movie (yes, I do believe that Hollywood is capable of excising key characters from any intellectual property they get their hands on), I fully expect to be disappointed by her portrayal. I just don't have a lot of confidence in 'porting' video games into movies.

Well, given that it's been said the movie is about Shepard, but nothing to do with the plot... There's either no Joker or he's played by somebody who isn't Seth Green (So no Normandy? WUT?)... Among other aspects, like the couple of months they're throwing it together in. Really, it'll be merciful if they cut Tali, they'd probably ruin her (For the movie, they can't touch what she is already).

This is less the case in ME2. When we see an actual asari-dominated world, it's clear enough that being attractive isn't universal.

I only find attractive Liara, Shiala, Aria and Samara/Morinth. Shiala for me, is the most attractive of all of them, that angry face mixed with lust that she manages to make after being cloned and vomited by the giant plant/vagina thing that we know as Thorian.

Agreed. Good luck to whomever would take the role of Tali.
