She may be 22, but remember what she said before the final push to the Conduit.
"Shepard, I backed you when I was just a kid on her Pilgrimage."

I also want to point out that when you bring Grunt to Wrex to talk with the latter about Grunt's odd behavior, Wrex answers that he's becoming a full adult. When the other squadmates comment, they point out their forms of puberty (humans: puberty, asari: maiden stage, etc.) and Tali answers that it seems like a Pilgrimage.

So as said, she may be 22, but she isn't a human, and the other races do have their forms of a coming of age.

EDIT: I wrote there instead of their. *mutters* Can't wait for school to start...

I agree with you on that, and thanks for the feedback!  Personally I felt the ME1 romances were rushed as it was, anyway, and as Tali didn't really show her feelings for Shepard until ME2 (although it was shown that she had them in ME1), I was thinking of something similar, especially as she is still considered a "kid" until she completes her pilgrimage.

As for school starting, I'm about half and half.  I don't want to be taking 17 credits of chemistry, physics, and education courses, but it would be nice to get back into routine.

Geez, you got more on your plate than I do in terms of difficulty.

Also personal note, this guy has just pre-ordered the Sideshow male-Shepard figure! All I need to do is wait for Tali, and my life will be complete!

Oh I'm not saying I don't like Dark in my stories,I just keep hearing Razor's Edge Requiem does it to the point were its not cool any more its just...well depressing... in the bad way.
But i'll check out the first two Razor's Edge Fics. Those I hearing are really good.
This is the most fan fictions i've ever read like this...I guess Talimancers tug a certain heartstring.;)

Heh....If you like dark, Razor's Edge Requiem has nothing on "Nothing is Trivial" and the "Shell/Spirit/Death of Heroism" series.

www.fanfiction.net/s/7437678/1/Nothing_is_Trivial
Fair warning.  I actually found "Nothing is Trivial" to be painful to read.  For all that the writing itself is pretty good.

www.fanfiction.net/u/1916770/
The "Heroism" series starts dark gets a little bit lighter through the middle then, so far, just falls into an abyss of darkness in the third part.  You might need anti-depressant medication at the end.  Regardless it has decent chracterization and writing.

Both of course have Tali as the LI.

Personally, I found the Heroism series to be dark to the point of being unnecessary, especially towards the end of the second and into the third.  Character deaths are handled somewhat poorly and appear out of nowhere, and the violence/gore just doesn't seem worth it.  That Shepard doesn't know how to lead.Posted Image

Dark can be good, if there's a light at the end of the tunnel.  When things get dark, it leaves the reader generally with a sense of dread and fear for the characters' wellbeing, as most readers prefer "happy" endings (main characters are "okay," in a sense, bad guys defeated, house on Rannoch, etc.).  As such, while a darker story isn't always a deterrent, psychologically the reader wants to see what happens next, and looks forward to a brighter side of the story to reward themselves with happier emotions.  Reading a dark story that doesn't show signs of getting brighter, however, will often cause the reader to shut it out and stop reading, opting for other activities (or stories) that allows them to feel the happier emotions they need to feel.

While Razor's Edge: Requiem is dark, it has its moments of levity and gives hope that things will get better, and fortunately I have other fics (most of which have been posted here) to read to take the edge off.  Heroism was too dark for me, and turned me off after the finale of its second story.

Still, to each their own, and while the stories are well written, I don't read to become depressed.Posted Image

I can only, okay, I don't want  to imgine what you are doing.

Remeber that whole discussion about Tali's body temperature. Does Shepard have a heat stroke in the middle. like in the middle he just reaches over and takes a sip of mountain dew or whatever the hell thay drink in the future.

Tali: OH DON'T STOP!

Shepard: Screw the italin chandelier, how bout' a italian ice.

But seriously, do you think there are some like special customs in quatrian matig. I think that there is a mating dance. It involves a small white sheet. That'll only get whiter.

Sorry if I sound perverted, but humor in a dark time is necessary. Thats right, they make more dark rendition chapers. Posted Image

I can't help but agree more or less.  I'm kind of sticking out the last third of heroism out of a morbid facination.  A how far is the author going with this kind of thing.  I'm actively swapping out with happier stuff as I read every chapter though.  (e.g. For We Are Many)  Makes me wish that their was a well written fanfic that hasTali running around with a kitten.

Wow a little bit exaggerated methinks. :P The reverse cameltoe in particular is simply delightful.

In all seriousness though, this is hot.

Don't care - skintight outfit = HAWT! Which is why I like it when people like Jessica Nigri and Yaya Han cosplay as Black Cat or Catwoman... :3

I wish you luck, my friend.  Part of me also kind of feels sorry for the author, as he's the one who has to think the stuff up and make it messed up as it is.

As for a story with Tali running around with a kitten, I don't think the world would be ready for that much cuteness.Posted Image

I start playing catch up with the forum posts and I see Tali's *** posted like five times.
I must have left the forum at the wrong time last night,It seems thats when things got interesting.

Also I mentioned before I'm ok with having a dark tone with my stories, but I don't like it when I starts to become a little much(like Heroism that one tries to hard...way to hard).

EDIT:Ok maybe I overexaggerated Tali's *** was posted three times.

Mirimancers don't have many options, what with half the shots of Miranda in ME being of her ass.

Miranda's hardly genetically perfect. Unless she hails from a planet ruled by beaver people.

She hails from Beaverton IV. 2.3 Earth atmoshperes, day length 94.6 hours,96% ocean coverage.
Beaverton IV has an atmosphere toxic to most species. It is divided into many clans who war over the plants deminished resources.
In the year 2136 clan ONMYTUMMY conquered all clans in the eastern islands, the other clans allied and built the Great Dam of Oglethoc to stop ONMYTUMMY's incoming legions. In the year 2185 ONMYTUMMY's armies broke through Oglethoc and now Emporer Blurz has called for exterimantion of all Oglethocians. The war continues today. The beavers of Beaverton IV have already relayed their plans to galactic domination after the reaper war is over,as the reapers have ignored their planet.
It is unknown how the resistance fares in the war on the ONMYTUMMY Empire. The Beaverton Republic of Kigyarginton has pleaded the Salarian Union and Human Systems Alliance for aid, Councilers Valern and Anderson conversed on the matter, an answer to wether or not the republic will Recieve reinforcements is unknown.
All that is known is is the galaxy survives the reapers Beaverton IV will be a new enemy of the galactic community soon.
