Well, that would be a big announcement, wouldn't it? Seeing how they've purposefully tried to say as little as possible about her after it got out that she'd be back.

It's sort of funny Casey stated that attention is being given to Tali's popularity, followed by absolute silence, also I've heard in a interview by martin Sheen (TIMMY) that his voice job was postponend until september where Shroka (Tali) finished her lines months ago. I'm pretty sure Tali's role in ME3 has been set by now

Yes I have, I can understand how you feel about the insulting. My mother Took me to doctors and I was Diagnosed with Aspergers at 10.

On topic, the scale of the third game is gonna be a lot bigger-- I doubt the climax of each romance is going to be Shepard and the LI just getting together in his/her quarters again.  What kind of ending do you want to see for Tali's romance?

If she's exiled in me2, I want to see her and Shepard travel the galaxy as a badass couple, doing heroic, spectre-ly things.

If she's proven innocent in me2 and the Quarians and the Geth are united long enough to at least stop the Reapers and negotiate a ceasefire, hopefully we can see her and Shepard leading the effort to resettle the Quarian homeworld again.

No this is the part where you suddenly take something completely off topic serious in a thread you are usually mocking. I found that amusing.

No offence intended, it was just funny.

In any case, about the silence regarding Tali... I am actually alright with that. I'm the type who loves saving story spoilers till last, and I was happy with only knowing we would get Tali in ME2. Then the ME2 marketing went off and spoiled the majority of surprises in the game, and left me knowing half the plot before the game even was released. I am happy with sparse info.

I think it just needs to be recognized, and I mean fairly often. You got a remark from Kasumi in ME2, and Mordin gave you some "friendly" advice and information, but other than that, no recognition that you're with Tali. Similar circumstances for everyone else.

Yeah and this is what bothers me. I do know that all this romance parts are just really small part of the game, but damn I want that they actually means something and that it shows in the game when you're playing. For example your crew could be talking about your relationship, when you're walking around the Normandy or something else as simple. And not just one romance scene just before the final mission.

Would be really fun if you confront the Council in an extremely satisfying "Told ya so!" moment, and the Turian councilor resorted to trying to shame you for your love life, which you could use an Interrupt on (Preferably socking him in the mandibles).

Heh, was pissed off about how Shepard blocks Liara instead of Tali, nice to see other people felt the same way. Garrus gets to join me for that part of the mission now, his face can take a lot of damage.

Well, we already know that if our Shepard (or, in point of fact, *your* Shepard -bunch of cheating bastards-) romanced either Ash or Liara in ME1, then hooked up with, in this case, our beloved Tali in ME2, you're going to hear about it from not only your ME1 Love Interest, but likely from others as well. While there have been no details, Casey and others have hinted that not staying "loyal" to your ME1 LIs would have some fairly serious, or painful, consequences. I posted something here in the thread about a month or so back painting a picture of a scene after Tali rejoins the Normandy crew (again) after Shepard's escape from Earth and the Reaper Invasion Fleet. In the scene, Tali comes to Shepard to address the possibility that, with (in this case) Ashley back on board, Shepard's old feelings might have resurfaced and he might want to resume a relationship with someone he can be with physically on a regular basis without risking health, death, etc. Wanting John to be happy, Tali tells him she would not hate him if he chose to go back to Ash. Shepard, being deeply in love with Tali (where-as with Ash it was more of an emotionally intense Fling) basically tells Tali, in that special Shepard way, that, once again, she's being kind of stupid about her fears in regards to the both of them.

Whatever Shepard tells her (hopefully the dialogue is outstanding) Tali folds into his arms and they seem about to share another Face-Mask (if not suit) removing moment when Ashley walks into Shepard's Quarters (through a door that, stangely, always seems to be unlocked. Thanks EDI) and sees Shepard and Tali together. She looks like she's about to Rage, then just looks awkward, mumbles something, then leaves. Given that no one really discusses Shepard's private life on the Ship, out of respect for both him and Tali, it's likely Ashley will be unware of Shepard having fallen in love with Tali. This opens the door for some great, if possibly gut wrenching, drama as it will be hard to not feel like an A-Hole for leaving your relationship with Williams (or anyone else) behind. I've yet to play the Shadow Broker (Waiting for the ME2 GOTY Edition) so I don't know how Liara responds to Shepard being in a relationship with Tali. Regardless, I think we'll hear quite a bit about Shepard's romance in ME3.

I'm Simply Explaining why I exaggerate and Obsess over Tali'Zorah. If you don't care, FIne, Just cut me some slack, cuz I don't pick up on social cues as well as you do. If I'm acting creepy or something similar, let me know, If you wanna get evil and say hurtful ****, Think twice. As for the meaning of Relationships in ME, I wish it was deeper and more concentric to the game, like a Decision where instead of Handing over the collector base or something, You have to choose to save your LI or The World you're on. Or The LI gets more romantic Dialogue, and the Choice of LI Gets more concentric to gameplay.

This is why I loved Dragon Age Origins. Everyone has gossip about everything xD Some of them express fear, others worry, others are happy, and some are just jealous. And romances in DAO are part of the game, I mean they are not "hey!!! lets go and have fun for a night", they evolve, they back fire and you really feel that your Warden is alive. What I like most, is that you have to put effort in the relationship because there is the system of "approval and disapproval". That is something I hated in ME, you could be a total dick with Tali or anyone and they still want to be with Shep ...

I hope theres a option to put a Quarian embassy and hopefully get a Quarian on the council when you save all of
the races at the end or even at the beginning of ME (plus i never even had a romance in ME1 so my shepard died a virgin and came back to life only by the end of ME2 to lose his virginity to the one he loves *Tali*)

Well whether you see her face or not is strictly a choice. Even if the game forced Shepard to do it, you still don't have to see it if you don't want it.

Because if they do show Tali's face, it would be all over the internet. And when that happens (not if, when) then you can't avoid it without staying away from internet in general. Maybe you could pay your bills and read your email, but that's it. And most defintiely you can visit anyhting ME or game related sites. Never. Thought at the end, that won't matter as I'll say that it's impossible not to see Tali's face, if BW indeed shows it.

Sooner or later, you would see that face in somewhere. Maybe not right after the game had been released or maybe even year(s) after it. But in some point, you will see that face, if you continue to use internet.

So, sure, it's choice, where options are to either see that face or avoiding using internet in general. In other word, the real choice is that do you want to see that face willingly or because its somehow forced to you?

Plus I would give a medal to a Tali fan that would be strong willed enought to never look it up for curiosity sake.

Yes, of course you'll see it if such a thing exists. we are talking about an rpg game, i mean seeing or not seeing unmasked Tali happens in your own playthrought or not, those choices are in-game RPG choices not real-life ones.

In game RPG storywise Shepard have already seen it, regardless of your choice in ME3 (Unless Tali had a Mask uder the Mask ...under the Mask under the Helmet   ) So it is just the Player who was left clueless there - so this is not realy an RPG in Game choice.

I thought the point of the thread was to know the people opinions and, even if i got here a little late, is my opinion about Tali's character in ME3. Actually, this sounds more like a self-defence post, but is more a little explanation about my first post, just in case it didn't fit that well.

That's an interesting point! Considering all the derision the Quarians get on the Citadel and from the Council during the course of the first two ME games, it would be good to see (in ME3) the Quarians being recognized for the efforts made in saving the Galaxy. After all, the other races on the Council don't have unblemished histories either.
