Hereby I want to announce that the basic story of my own planned FF(s) are written out.
There will be two stories:
"I'm in Control" will start 3 months after ME 3 EC Destroy ending.
Story 2 (right now without fitting title) plays about 9 months after that (so roughly one year after ME 3).
No details so far (PM me if curious
Do I have to mention that they will be Shep/Tali ?

Man, that blows. Sorry that happened to you BlazenGlazen.
Eh, stuff happens. And I guess this was a calling sign that I really needed to have a better computer setup. In the meantime, hopefully I'll be able to use this laptop until I get a desktop. I'll most likely start writing my next chapter on Wednesday. Yeah I know, I'm not able to crank out like 2,000+ word chapters a day. I work slow.
Also did you happen to read the rest of my story? What did ya think so far?

Its alot more to the point than most others i've read. But I like what i've read so far, keep it up.
Its nice to have another FF to read while I wait for BrysonC to come out with that next chapter of You came back to me.

Wrote my review on FF.net. Looks good!
First day of classes just ended and these 17 credits are going to hurt, it seems. I might only be able to do 1000 words a day or so, time allowing. Still, I'll make the effort.
And Bryson, looking forward to the next chapter in yours as well!
Edit: TOTP (again!)

Haha, fair enough
The problem is that I don't have the foggiest idea of where to begin, and the fact that I haven't even played ME1 puts me at an automatic disadvantage.

Don't set your expectations too high. You don't need to write a masterpiece. You just need to have fun and hopefully others will have fun, too.
Also, I never played ME1, either.

Well, just go with your gut on what to do, no one is to hate you or think less of you over a FF. Its purely in the spirit of fun. Nothing more nothing less.

I'd literally kill to own a copy of ME1 on PS3.

Hopefully nobody kills me for saying this, but I think the first game is kinda meh. Not story-wise, just gameplay-wise. Hasn't aged well, IMO.
In any case, I first played ME2 on PS3, and the Genesis comic kind of filled me in on everything, so I didn't feel any need to play the first game.

You'd kill to own something that was never made. BioWare never ever made a PS3 version. I wish it had been - would've saved me the money and hassle and I could've just bought the entire series on PS3, instead of how I ended up doing it, which would give me a headache to describe now.

Yeah, i've heard a lot of bad things about ME1's gameplay - more notoriously, the shooting mechanics and driving the Mako. You shouldn't let that put you off though! Afterall, the combat is just the icing on the cake right? And you do miss out on quite a few characters by skipping it (Conrad Verner, Kirrahe).
When I first played ME2, it certainly wasn't the gameplay that made me want to continue playing (because let's be honest, the gameplay in ME2 isn't exactly drawdrapping, though I didn't mind it). It was the characters, surroundings and locations. I knew I was playing an epic game the moment I walked into Omega and saw all the different aliens, the dirty waste-strewn streets and felt the deep, pulsing throb of Afterlife vibrating through my headphones. The desire to see more of the ME universe was reason enough for me to grind through all the gameplay sections. I imagine I could do the same for ME1.
Then again, I haven't experienced ME1's gameplay first hand...and it's most likely more terrible then I could begin to imagine, but oh well.
EDIT: @Tokaki
I'm well aware that the original ME is non-existant on PS3, believe me =/ The Genesis comic is a poor compromise for an entire game.
