well, though Tali's legs are nice, the hips and bums are AWESOME, fetishizing them is a little bit too farApathy1989 wrote...

It seems to be a very subjective thing. Some people like her for looks, some like for personality, some like her due to being an engineer and tech, some like her due to having chicken feet (but that's a whole different thing), and some people like her for a combination of the above.andrew688k said...
hi, fellow Talimancers, I am new to this thread and this is my first post here. I always question myself, "why do people(including me) love Tali so much?" So can you guys tell me the quantities that you like about Tali to help me solve this mystery?
Personally, I like her personality and the fact that she's been with the team from the very start.
Also, welcome to the thread.
(And wow at all the new people in this thread, I'd forgotten what this place looked like)
I imagine most people its a combination of the above. Her personality is great, the suit is attractive while making her mysterious (so doubly attractive) and being a tech makes her more attractive to me since I love geeky girls. Her voice is fantastic aswell, really charming and interesting.
I tolerate the chicken feet. Reading some fanfic though I am confident some people have fetishized them.

The "chicken feet" are alright, especially given that if she had five toes and fingers there would be complaints that she looks even more human.

Don´t want to be curb stomped by Tali. She probably has the leg power of an ostrich.18 Brains wrote...

It's definitely her adorable mannerisms/personality that does it. I'm also a sucker for that accent though, every time she says Shepard I smile heh. Always found the way she said his name to be cute seems to always have some sort of emotion to it as well.
Hmm I guess that's another (silly) reason. I like the fact that she addresses Shepard by his name pretty much all the time. Feels more personal I guess /shrug. The occasional "captain" doesn't hurt tho. ;p

I live the whole character. Personality is the most important, but the looks are great aswell.
Well, living the character is good, I suppose. Never went that far myself.
I agree though, Tali's character as a whole is awesome. Personality, accent, looks, smarts, everything.

She's funny, charmingly awkward, loyal, and IMO easily the most affectionate love interest in the games. On a more practical note, I also think her romance arc is the best written.
This, plus the chemistry between the actors dialog...though that could be me projecting. The dialog between Tali and Shephard seems more genuine as LI's.

I think the question should be what don't we like about Tali, which for me is nothing at all!
This is true. There's at least one thing that bothers me about pretty much every other character, but not Tali.

Nope.
Not ever.
We're still around. Clan Zorah is our hide away. It's where most of the old crew have gone. I take a look at this thread from time to time, but I haven't been posting.18 Brains wrote...

Maybe she is too nice? Seriously thats all I can think of.
Was thinking earlier about Tali being an admiral, and it not helping when the Quarians attacked the Geth. Koris and Tali voted against, so I guess that means its Raans fault for it all? Xen and Garrel were always going to vote for, but Raan was the moderate. How was Tali unable to convince her?

Heh don't even get me started with the whole Raan thing my bf and I have had many arguments about why Raan was the way she was in 3 and why she voted against Tali if she's an admiral lol. I think I might have mentioned her sleeping with Gerrel once...XPApathy1989 wrote...

Personally I think Tali is better off getting exiled, only if romanced tho. The Rannoch arc seems to flow better that way imo. They don't listen to her when she's an admiral anyway. <_<
Oh so a few days ago I got curious to what happens when you turn in the evidence on Rael during the trial... I wanted to see the conversation that was on the Normandy. Shepard stood there practically begging for her forgiveness. As awful as it is to do that to her some of the dialogue exchanges between them during it are excellent... I've never seen Shepard so sad he looked like a lost puppy.
