Right. So an update on my broken laptop debacle and when I'll write my next chapter of my Shepard/Tali story.

It's still broken, and it's warranty is up. None of my older laptops will work either. So I am pretty much stuck without a proper computer for now. I bought a desktop online and it should be on the way however. So maybe within a weeks time I'll have everything in order and I'll start writing again. So I would say not to expect a chapter until next weekend. Sorry guys. :(

That picture makes me imagine her modelling on top of a car or something like that.

When Shepard calls Tali, "Mrs. Vas Normandy" I always imagine her wearing a diamond tiara carrying a bouqet of roses waving at her adoring fans like she just won a beauty pagent.

Joker makes a tiara and sash comment about that nickname after the dreadnought mission

Tali should be painted on the side of the normandy.

As such

god that would be awesome. Rename it the 'Ms Vas Normandy' and put a tiara above the cockpit.

So, here I have another question for you guys, do you prefer Tali to have an official face(anyway throw that stock photo away), or keep Tali faceless. I prefer keeping Tali faceless though, as now she is basically flawless and adding a crappy face like Diana Allers' would totally screw up and eliminate any imagination, any thoughts guys?

I prefer faceless. Tali is already the best character in ME series. I don't think revealing her face would make her any better. And about that photo, I don't take it seriously, just pretend it's someone else.

Official face.

That is her official face. Officially. (or as close as exists in pictoral form)

Ha, I remember this coming up pre-release.  I think that tendrils would make much more sense than flowing hair(maybe not so many of them)...  But then they would have had to actually devote artists to creating a unique image, and no one wants that.

Gust4v: the fourth one looks like an Assassins Creed outfit:wub: Is that a mod? Any chance of download link?

She is from multiplayer, you can customize her suit colors and patterns. That's her nurse/medic outfit.

Nice pics, btw.

You know what guys, I've had alot of fun discussing Tali with you guys. But I don't think it's vice versa. I've kinda lost interest with this thread so i'm just gonna quit. So my final words.

<3 Tali and I wish finely written Tali and Shep fan fics upon you. Still wish bsn would let me post a pic of Tali for this but its only 6 days so oh wells. Oh and Wings of Fire, You came back to me, and some others who's names i can't remember are the ****.

On a slighly related note, are you guys reading the Marauder Sheilds comics? Not only are they extremely well done, but the writing is superb. I highly recommend them.

Episode 31 was released just now, and it involves Tali. So go read it!

^^Read it.  It's good.Posted Image

I like how they're still going with the comic.  What was once a joke aimed at the developers has become monumental in scope and plot.  Looking forward to the next!

TOTP (once again):

Liked that as well. Would've been nice to see something like this in game, but the pic is awesome, nonetheless. I always go paragon myself, but the "I should go" would definitely be lolworthy as an option.

^^ Out of curiousity, how is Shepard wearing the Recon Helmet? I didn't think it was possible to get it in ME2, unless i've missed something blatantly obvious.

^^ It was a Dr. Pepper promotional item. That and along with the Sentry Interface and the Umbra Visor.

As for the picture, I would juggle between the charm option, and the renegade option.

I've been quite curious about this since yesterdays minor discussion of renegade vs paragon.

Do most of you tell Tali on her loyalty mission that it's a bad idea to take back her homeworld? And that the quarians should settle somewhere else?

Yeah well, my paid vacation is all used up and I have to go back to doing real world stuff. I dunno maybe I'll stick around when i have free time but all of it's currenty on the table of paying bills, work, and supporting family. I'm still waiting on Wings of Fire and You came back to me to put out more chapters so i'll post every now and again.

BTW. Sorry it took so long to respond, I know this post is going to end up in the middle of someone's conversation and apologize to those people.

EDIT: And don't worry the Talimancers will always be strongest. ;)

Yes, every time. My Shepards have all been pure paragon.

Not to mention I, personally, thought that the idea of the quarians going to war with the geth, with the Reapers right around the corner, was horrible.

After trying all the responces, I prefer the renegade as the first reply which is about the promise of building a home, followed by paragon on the next part of the conversation that has shepard ask her about trying to find a new planet. It seems to flow together quite well.

I do the opposite on the final two responces at the end of Rannoch when they are sitting on that cliff.

Same here.  Not a very good idea to fight the geth and come out weakened from it, with either one or both sides being decimated and giving the Reapers a free pass for invasion.  And for the decision to do so in ME 3, I found it interesting that Tali couldn't sway Auntie Raan, the fifth quarian Admiral responsible for the deciding vote to fight against them (Koris and Tali wanted peace, Gerrel and Xen wanted war, Raan = final vote).  Still, I resolve the conflict through peace regardless; best for both sides, although it's a shame that your actions in ME 2 didn't really change the Admirals' opinions.

I largely consider ME2 a spinoff game at this point. A very solid spinoff game, and my favorite Mass Effect title, but it feels so disconnected from the others, mostly because Drew Karpyshyn's original intent for the games' plot was altered so radically after ME2.

At first, I was all about the Quarians going to war with the Geth because the Normandy would be ready to assist in any way possible and I really wanted the Quarians to get their home world back. then we met Legion and I saw the possibility for peace after Legion and Tali's argument.

The first time I played, I told her it's a bad idea, but on my 2nd playthrough, I supported the idea

Well folks, I just bit a mighty big financial bullet  -  I just made a preorder for the Play Arts figures of Shepard, Tali, and Garrus.

On the downside, I'm now poorer than I was a few minutes ago (or I will be poorer when the figures actually ship).

On the plus side, Team Dextro won't be lonely from each other. :P
