If the quarians make peace wtith the geth, the rest of the galaxy is going to have to take notice, and will probably rush to readmit them to the citadel. Why? Because the geth will give them industrial capacity that cannot be ignored.
Heh, given how arrogant and assuming the galaxy already is about the Quarians and Geth, they'll probably be struggling to shove their noses up their collective (Heh heh... Geth Collective...) ass in fear of an attack.

Hmm. Here's a mind-f**k for the organic races. Maybe the Geth should get a seat on the council too, along with the Quarians? After all, with the Geth looking for independence and recognition, it would be an interesting turn of events if Legion got a seat on the council to represent the first non-organic race! It would represent true reconciliation between the Geth and the Quarians.

Ah, okay. Thanks for the clarification. It's just... well, I am very cautious when people say they have autism/aspergers. Many people use it as an excuse for lacking social skills, especially when they say they've self-diagnosed. As someone who's lived for many years with medically diagnosed autistic people, you quickly learn to spot the real deal from the bulls**t, even on the internet (though it's obviously harder for the latter).CommanderBadass wrote...
Yes I have, I can understand how you feel about the insulting. My mother Took me to doctors and I was Diagnosed with Aspergers at 10.Arcian wrote...
Have you actually been diagnosed with Autism/Asperger's Syndrome, or are you just using those disorders as an excuse?CommanderBadass wrote...
Apologies for the double post, but I'm autistic and alone, Tali's all I got.that's why I obsess over her. Asperger's Syndrome...and being Cold & Alone.
Because you see, two of my four siblings have autism, and it's more than a bit insulting when people use the disorders to excuse their anti-social and obsessive behavior.
Anyway, dude, sorry if I put pressure on you. No harm intended. Carry on as usual.
Yeah, I have that magical talent. It's not very useful, but hey, there it is...Nashiktal wrote...

Is this the part where we laugh mockingly at my expense for taking a very personal subject seriously?
No this is the part where you suddenly take something completely off topic serious in a thread you are usually mocking. I found that amusing.
Don't worry, none was taken. I don't have the time nor patience to take offense on the internet.Nashiktal wrote...
No offence intended, it was just funny.

Asari Councilor: *sigh* "Today we welcome the appointed Councilor for the Geth Collective to the Citadel Council. Councilors?"
Turian Councilor: *furious mumblings*
Salarian Councilor: "Ah, yes, erhm... Welcome."
Anderson: "Hello again, Legion."
Legion: "Anderson-Admiral-Councilor."
Shala: "Greetings, Legion."
Legion: "Creator-Shala'Raan-Councilor."
A.C.: "Legion is a little... Odd for the name of a Council member. Is there... Something else we could call you?"
Legion: "Geth."
*groans*
Can just imagine the facepalming of the squad if they were present. "Not THIS again..."

Based on what we know of her from ME2, she wouldn't be my personal choice for Councilor. She's playing the neutrality card to the point of apathy. Though this is not to say she didn't have an ulterior reason for staying neutral, as to maybe halt a decision from being made prematurely in regards to the fate of the fleet, and keep the more volatile elements like Gerrel and Xen from destroying their species? Even so, I'm not sure what her political agenda is. She's very much a wildcard.
Also, in response to T.Attwood's postulation above: I'm not sure it's in the geth's interests to have a representative on the Council. I think, at it's height, they would maintain semi-frequent contact with the Council for purely diplomatic reasons, but as it stands, the geth have their own path and organics is not part of it.
Or, you know, maybe we can change that in ME3? Maybe we can influence the geth to abandon their ideals of true unity to become more like Legion, to aspire to achieve individuality? But err, that discussion really belongs in the Legion thread, so I'll take it there...
Thanks for the inspiration, though.

She left me with the impression of wanting to patiently wait for an option that wouldn't result in a major sh!tstorm (As opposed to attacking the geth (Han'Gerrel), trying to sabotage the whole damn Collective (Rael'Zorah), trying to hack them back to their minions (Daro'Xen), or bending over and telling the Geth to go easy on them (Zaal'Koris). Seemed like if the option of a true truce for the greater good came up, she'd be all for it, and with the head to steer through the major changes and problems that were to be dealt with after the apocalyptic war.
Or maybe she's just a mellow old Auntie. But she'd have to have been nominated to Admiral for something, right? So my bet is wisdom.

Damn, that's good. Hint of a nose and lips, which we know she has, but not enough to show any differences in them. And methinks Joker's trying to maneuver in for a look, pervy bastard.
