What are these "hurricanes" you speak of?
And on topic... Tali is the best.

Great story colossus. Nice to see Tali's father acting like a normal person.ColossusProblematic wrote...

This one time, here in MA, it rained. Really hard. Man, I was scared.
Oh, and one time, it snowed.

Yep, Female quarians have a small third toe on outer side of their feet. Oddly enough, Male quarians do not have this third toe

Blame the artists, although some theories have cropped up. And yes, Tali's other assets can be quite distracting.
Actually, no. Quarian legs are superior to human legs in a lot of ways, because quarians have real bipedal legs. Humans just have jury-rigged quadrapedal legs, which makes us slow, noisy, quick to tire, and easy to break.Apathy1989 wrote...

Whenever I look at her from this angle, I always wonder how Quarians managed to evolve legs like that. Surely any downward force would cause the lower half of their legs to break?

But surely if we stand straight, our skeleton can brace itself as a straight line - making no point of weakness.exelsis wrote...

Quarians can jump higher, run faster for longer, absorb more impact, and generally do better at everything involving legs.
BONUS ADVANTAGE! It also makes the females extra sexy.

The thing is that every step a human takes puts pressure on the whole leg, and up through the back. But a quarian's leg bones are not straight and not in a line. Humans usually break legs when they fall from the second story of a house, a quarian could absorb that same impact with no issue.Apathy1989 wrote...

Quarian legs, which I can see running faster, would be a bend and would be under enormous pressure at that point.

Better for everything on land. Quarians would be poor swimmers though. lots of drag on a bent leg, bad angles for pushing forward, and narrow feet.Apathy1989 wrote...

Putting it that way, I can see that yeah. Is the Quarian leg worse for lifting, better for jumping, running and landing?
