FFS take Tali and Garrus on Leviathan. Their dialogue just fits the two squadmate blanks perfectly I think.

Also have a question. After coming to the concurrent conclusions that Shepard=Superman and Garrus=Batman in my dreamscaped DC Comics/ME universe, I'm yet to assign Tali a superhero character. :D

Be a pal and help me out would you?

Gonna be weird seeing everyone using my name in DLC discussion. Damn you, BioWare.

For the Talimancers who have played Leviathan, worth the 10 bucks?

I enjoyed it. Tali gets a good amount of dialogue with some romance specific.

Damn you. I had no intention of buying it because it held zero appeal until I read that.

Honestly, the DLC itself is also really good. Like, better then Lair of the Shadowbroker good.

Hmm I still liked LotS better...I felt there wasn't much gameplay in Levianthan. Also wasn't really a fan of constantly interacting with that stuff on the Citadel and more planet scanning heh. The last mission was pretty cool. The combat music was awesome too.. Eh at least it held me over till the WoW patch was up. XD

While i'm at it I only noticed three lines of LI specific dialogue with Tali. And they were pretty short.

From what I can tell, the LI specific stuff was

Highlight to see spoilers

1) Right before Shepard goes underwater in the mech (Tali very much concerned for his saftly, simular to before fighting the Reaper on Rannoch)

2) When Shepard gets back, and is on the shuttle again

3)Talking to Tali on Normandy after last mission of DLC

^ The description looked questionable, so I didn't look or click. Still, looking at the comments about it (and because I find youtube to be a poor substitute for actually playing the game; don't quite feel the same connection), I'll buy it. Download it tonight, and maybe play this weekend. More Tali dialogue, even short, is always good!

I'm going with Talia Al Ghul for the time being :P

Considering if Tali is "Talia Al Ghul" then her father, Rael would be "Ra's Al Ghul".

Makes sense.

I would say the DLC is barely worth 10, but I got my moneys worth.

Just finished my run-through of Leviathan - honestly dug the living hell out of it, easily beats the ME2 DLC missions by a damn mile (yes, even better than LotSB, in my opinion).

Took Tali with me for all 3 missions of the DLC (first 2 were her and Kaidan, last one was her and Javik)  -  I'll try other characters later, but man, squadmates really do get a ton of dialogue during these missions along with new things to say on the Normandy afterwords (which is one big reason why Leviathan blows away the ME2 DLC in my book).

There is so much rage about the Leviathan DLC on various other forums I visit. I was planning to buy it but now I'm not so sure.

I miss Drew Karpyshyn. :(

It's worth it. People are just using every opportunity they get to complain about the endings. Again.
I'd say about 5% of supposed 'issues' with leviathan you've heard are legitimate.

And I miss Drew as well.

You should buy it.

I didn't regret it...

The last part was epic, the music was very good, dialogue was also good, and it does not make destroy look worse (some bad rumors).

Actually, the more I think about it, the more I realize it was definitely worth the ten bucks.

Silly Bryson, it's Mass Effect 3.... people will always find something to b*tch about it. :P

It's very much worth it, trust me:
- three good, fun missions to play through
- two new weapons and a bunch of new weapon mods to try out
- a bunch of new systems to explore and new War Assets
- a sh*t-ton of new squadmate dialogue (loved Tali's dialogue, but that's a given)
- a really good story that adds to the plot in a meaningful way (in my opinion).

Finished it just now. I enjoyed it a lot as well. Was interesting to learn more about the reaper history. It even reveals why they look the way they do.

The final dialogue from Tali once back on the Normandy after finishing the last part of it was still touching.

I loved the hell out of Leviathan.

Tali's scolding of Shepard at the end was also adorable and very in-character for her. Sometimes Shepard definitely needs reminding that just because he's the Galaxy's resident superhero, it doesn't mean that he gets to leave her worrying while he once again goes charging into the maw of hell...

After all, hell hath no fury like a Tali scorned!

I don't know if we're allowed to discuss spoilers here, but... SPOILERS.

I spoiled the story details for myself (I always do, bad habit, never impacts my enjoyment anyway), so I read that the Reapers are supposedly made in Harbinger's image. That doesn't make sense to me, though -- why were they building a human Reaper, then? Smacks of narrative inconsistency.

I had a lot of fun in this dlc the underwater part was great
And of course more squad dialogue. I don't understand the hate
It's like all people do on here is complain now.
I was also skeptical at first but I'm glad I didn't listen to all the ranting.

The "inside" of the capital ship class reaper is based on the race harvested...the outside is  based on Harbinger. I won't say more beyond that for people who didn't play it yet.

It was somewhat explained in ME2. Shepard asked EDI why it looked Human and she hypothesised that was because it was merely the core. The familiar Reaper shape would later be constructed around it to form the outer hull.

Aha. Clever, BioWare. Very clever.

Thank you for explaining that.

While there are times it's good to listen to feedback, reviews and criticisms, there are also times that it's best to just make up your own mind and make a decision. I felt my $10 was well spent.

I believe that it was established before that the human Proto-Reaper that Shepard fought in ME2 was actually going to be the "core" of the next Reaper, which would have had a standard Sovereign-class body.

EDIT: And I've been
