Desktop is coming in today, and my laptop should be fixed today as well.

So I should be able to start writing my next chapter either later tonight or tomorrow. Can I get a hip hip hurrah?

Hip Hip Hurrah, my friend!  Looking forward to it!

Got a bit of a hectic schedule for my own fic, but I'm trying to make sure I can write new chapters regularly before I start posting.  I refuse to go the way of so many others and simply end it incomplete.

Just downloaded Leviathon.  I should really wait for the weekend, but what's an hour or two of not studying, anyway?Posted Image

I am, and very happy about it. It was one of the fan's main complaints about ME2 dlc, not having any squad dialogue.

Well I think Bioware noticed that massive demand for more LI content, so they decided to do it. Still I'm surprised to hear nearly all the cast in this dlc.

Yeah, I also have to disagree about Tali being the 'underdog' love interest. I think she's easily the most well-developed and well-written in the games. Some visual fan service for characters like Liara or Ashley can't make up for unsatisfying writing.

I tend to agree she's not the underdog, but half of the charm in the dialog is due to the actress. Stick a less talented voice actor in that role and Tali isn't nearly as deep of a character, imho.Sroka put a lot of heart into Tali.

The next Skyrim DLC is the one Talimancers need after the destroy-end of ME3.

I thought having the Squad mate actually talk in this DLC really improved thing for me, especially the Tali romance dialogue. Had some really nice lines i there. really good piece of DLC imo.

It's a conspiracy.

BioWare trying to repent for ME3's mistakes? Let's hope so.

When I said "overall", I meant, she has the best LI dialogue in the entire game.

I agree with you there, although I haven't tried FemShep's romances yet well enough to compare any of them. Out of the male Shepard's love interests, though, there's no contest.

Well I will never play as femshep... so... yeah...

I don't think they could hold a candle to Tali anyway.

Pretty much. It makes it easy when you find the best LI on the first playthrough :)

I'm personally a fan of Garrus' romance dialogue. He's amazingly awkward in ME2 but tries so damn hard. And he definitely had some of the best lines in ME3.

I tried. I really, really tried. But I just got so sick of Hale's Shepard voice that even awkward Garrus wasn't enough motivation. =/

^Therein lies my problem with my FemShep playthrough. Voice acting annoys me, can't bring myself to load the save anymore. Not to mention the lack of Tali romance in her future...

It seems like the whole BroShep vs. FemShep, in terms of voice actors, always put people at polar ends in terms of their feelings. I love BroShep because Mark Meer does a fantastic job, yet FemShep players swear by Jennifer Hale. I haven't heard from anyone who's inbetween.

Mhmm this is the only way I can tolerate him as an LI. His romance was actually very well done. I'd say it's up there with Liara's romance as far as content goes. Mostly cuz you get him so damn early.

Personally I think Mark Meer is a better renegade and Jennifer Hale is better paragon. It's how I play my main maleshep and femshep. They both have their strengths and weaknesses. I do prefer Meer more simply cuz I played maleshep exclusively until ME3. Plus you know... Tali hehe. ;p

I can see the appeal of FemShep in some cases - her voice actress seems to have a better grasp of where to place enunciation - but she seems to be trying too hard, if that makes any sense. And it probably doesn't.

I don't like Hale because it sounds like she is trying too hard to sound tough. And in scenes where emotion should be there, she shows none.

EDIT:  dang...

But on topic, How big of a house on Rannoch do you plan to build?

I have a nice small house being planned, been drawing some designs now that I know what Quarian buildings look like thanks to the EC.

A mansion. Tali deserves no less.

Well, Tali deserves a whole planet...

But I prefer average size house. Small when compared to a mansion.

Mansions sound decidedly un-quarian. Would be a nice home on the seaside, though.
