Absolutely.  However, every author must have their secrets.  As you put said in your most recent chapter, "Now that would be telling."

I wish Fanfiction had the option to add in soundtracks to fics. I just keep stumbling onto awesome music from different games or just anywhere in general that would fit perfectly in my scenes, whether it's combat, tension, friendship, or romance.

you might find that music is meant for the author of the chapter mcblazen, rather than the reader. i find that when i read a story, i have to turn my music off to be able to catch everything, but when im writing, i cant make do without it. nothing can inspire fresh material like a good song. Can i get a tali pic up in here?

You know, it's funny.  A lot of times when I write, I am listening to music.  I think you can post an 'Author's Note' section at the beginning or end of your fic, then mention what you were listening to as you wrote this chapter.  Several authors I know of do that.   One, Watase Yuu, the brains behind Fushigi Yuugi (if you are into manga/anime) actually puts what she was listening to as she drew the comic into the comic itself.

So feel free to do it.  If people want to listen to it as they read, they can!

It seems like the whole BroShep vs. FemShep, in terms of voice actors, always put people at polar ends in terms of their feelings. I love BroShep because Mark Meer does a fantastic job, yet FemShep players swear by Jennifer Hale. I haven't heard from anyone who's inbetween.

Mark Meer does a great job and I've been a BroShep player exclusively until recently. I went with FemShep to try a different LI as if I go BroShep I just keep going with Tali as she is just so damn good!

But Hale does some things very well, she puts a whole load of emotion into her lines, if you go Renegade she has the whole sinister threatening lines down to a T in ME2(Playing ME3 with her just now so can't comment so much on that yet).

Overall I prefer going Paragon with BroShep as I can't help being a Paragon as I think Tali would prefer a good guy Shep. But if I feel like a Renegade playthrough then FemShep is a very good option, Hale plays it brilliantly.

I do this occasionally if I find a piece that particularly fits a current chapter well.

Also I'd like to pop up as one of the middle grounders. I have enjoyed both FemShep and MShep voice acting. As someone pointed out, Mark Meer does a better renegade while I find Hale does a better paragon.

Hey, guys and gals. I was just thinking, and I apologize if it has been asked before, and it probably has.

But, I'll give it a shot anyway. What was the first line of dialog that got you interested in Tali as a LI for Shep?

I never really looked at her that way until, in her loyalty mission in ME 2. At the end my Shep said something like,

"Tali...about your father...you deserved better."

Tali replied, "I got better Shepard...I got you."

I was totally floored by that line. Probably due to the VA's delivery of that line. It really brought a tear to my eyes. It was just so sweet and heartfelt.

So, what was your first moment?

If it has been asked before just point me to the page, or topic.

I know i'm a little late to the party, but Leviathan was totally worth the pricetag - If only to see Tali firing a Claymore full-auto. God, that gave me a shock.

I always liked Tali, but I agree with you. That line was the decider for me as well. It happened on my second playthrough though, my first runthrough was a bit of a mess as I was completely new to the series. I think Tali was exiled in that one.

Hmm. Probably back to ME1 on Virmire.
When talking to her in the salarian camp, she says something along the lines of "I will fight with fire for you"
It was at that point where I began wondering why she wasn't a LI. Then ME2 eventually came out and fixed everthing.

That was a great line, to be honset thought I didn't even know Tali could be a LI until Kelly told me. Ever since I've been hooked. Now the only way I can ever not pick Tali is if I play Femshep.

I went dark on the forums before ME2, so I had no clue about Tali's romance. When Kelly told me, I was so happy. I loved her since I first played Mass Effect.

I don't think there was a specific dialog that would made me like her right after I heard it, but I remember a dialog on Haestrom. It was one of her recordings and she said something like "I wish Shepard were here". And immediately after I heard that, I wanted to give her a hug.

Person who plays both here. I say Hale is better as Renegade and Meer as Paragon. Simply because ParagonHale sounds like she's trying too hard to be superjesus and ReneMeer sounds like a Giant Ham.

finally got the chapter out that describes the new house of clan Shepard! hope i wrote it well enough to be easy to map out in the mind.
and to tack on to the discussion, i believe Meer does paragon better, whilst hale does renegade best. but theres just something about her voice that i cant stand.
