I see quarians in general as having a very strong fondness for music - and I think Tali probably goes more for dance beats. I think the dance gifs posted have made me think that, so I don't know how canon it is.

All the canon you'll ever need, my friend.

You need to stop teasing us and just post the damn thing. :P

Nah, I understand Brains' predicament. I haven't been able to work much on my stories in a month! Too much has changed and such. I'm barely able to catch up on my fav tali fanfics. But, somehow, I always make time for Tali. All i've been doing is writing down notes on my phone. I think there might be a full chapter somewhere in there but yeah, change in life requires coping time.

Finished Leviathan DLC...interesting stuff. I actually think Lair of the Shadow Broker was better overall, if only for what felt like less-rushed production values. ME3 as always looks slick, but the lack of memorable music always gets to me. All ME2 DLC had that. Was nice to hear new Tali lines, though, of course.

What confuses me is this: why does everyone think Leviathan is a rogue Reaper? Seemed pretty clear to me he's just one of the last survivors of his race, the race that created the Reapers. Fully organic. They didn't use indoctrination, just put people under thrall, as they did during their cycle to control the other races. Seems like a lot of people misinterpreted. Or maybe *I'm* misinterpreting?

I think the idea that a giant lobster with mind control abilities kind of screws people up a little.

Well, thats what we thought he was before the DLC was released, finding ou tthe Leviathan is actually the last surviving memeber (okay, there are atleast 3, so "members" I guess) of the race that created Starbrat was a nice twist.

Tali's line on the Normandy after the last part was by far the best. How much she cares about Shepard's safety is so sweet :wub::wub:

Soo much hate and BS out there...

Mmm, yes. I have for a long time noticed that forums such as BSN are a great place for people to b**** and spit venom at each other, sometimes just for the sake of it.

Coming to a thread like this let's you talk with people that still have their self-control intact, which is great. It is, to quote Dr. Chakwas, our immovable center; a place for one to stop and catch their breath.

No offense, but I always thought quarian danced more graceful and exotic dances, not errr... well, like an asari stripper. :?

Fortunately, Haestrom was written already and just requires some minor alterations. A bottle of Blue Moon, the Gerudo Valley theme from Ocarina of Time, and my fingers are dancing away happily.

Well, M4 Part II is playing now, followed by The End Run. Fitting, since I've been alternating between Mass Effect and LoZ in my writing lately. Nothing like alternating genres to keep from getting bored.
The alcohol helps, too.

'The End Run' is on my writing playlist, too, but it's usually too bombastic for the low-key stuff going on in my fic, lol. Tend to end up looping 'I Was Lost Without You' from the ME3 OST.

You are a man of good taste: Mass Effect, Legend of Zelda, and fanfiction. I drink to you, sir.

Thank you, sir.

One problem with LoZ is that I've had about a half dozen story ideas for different time periods or outcomes of OoT, not to mention an original outline I drew up. Not sure if I'll ever do anything serious with LoZ, but it's a fun diversion when I get stuck or need a break from sci-fi.

Good news regarding that, though. Haestrom's written but I can't update *too* quickly. Never know when you'll get hit by a meteor and end up in traction. Got to keep something in reserve. Fortunately, I have another 19k or so already written to be that reserve. Just needs tweaking.
Also sacked the long foreword which had previously sacked the ultralong foreword and just added the pertinent info at the end of the first chapter. That foreword was probably a turnoff judging by the view count of the chapters.

Well I found this Shepard/Tali vid seems to fit in with several fanfics I'm reading right now. Not sure if its been posted before but there's  nothing wrong with more Tali.

Also there seems to be a lack of Tali pics lately. So here were go.

Awesome video, one of the best I've seen. I have no idea why this doesn's have more views. It's so beautiful.

But anyway, I've just been on Donjon generator, looking what kind of spaceships it will genarate and this was one of them:
Tali Carrier: Cargo Spaceship. The Tali Carrier has a triangular hull. It is equipped with an external frame for cargo containers and a defensive force shield.

This is just a bloody freighter. Certainly useful for the Migrant Fleet, but Tali definitely deserves a much better ship.

I'll say these two things about Tali:
If she were a romance option in ME1, I think I'd have been 100% sold.
And she came in WAAYYY too late in ME3.

I can never get enough of that song. That, and A Future for the Krogan (gotta love Mordin). And any music on Tali missions because the music always reminds me that Shepard spent the whole score fighting beside Tali.

SInce the story was obviously written in separate acts, the rannoch arc could have been earlier! Agh, but that's not really a criticism, just a personal preference.

Agreed. I think they should get all the squadmates on the ship ASAP. It was the problem with Legion in ME2. Also the problem with Jolee Bindo WAAYYY back in KOTOR.

I would certainly have liked to have Tali earlier in the game, but what we got was dense with quality once she comes in. Everything from the solid LI-specific Dreadnought/Rannoch interaction to the uniquely animated "loving" look Shep gives her picture in his cabin (skiiping the debate over the pic itself). Even her entertaining bar/"induction port" scene changes nicely to reference an LI as "her boyfriend".

Still a shame that I can't have her interact with Wrex or Jack on Grissom, but oh well.

I agree. I'm now planning on holding off getting Javik until later and doing Leviathan alter so I can have her for both, but it's too bad we couldn't have gotten her right after the first Citadel trip; before we went to Palaven.

You would figure that, if you did get her exiled, she'd be there the moment you head to the Citadel for the first time. You know, being banned from seeing the Fleet again and all that.

Yes, Plus instead of a data package Shepherd should have been holding a picture of tali in the opening scene.
