So, assuming that it takes a while to get the relays fixed. I wonder how Tali would act when shepard takes her out to see stuff like Yosemite, Grand Canyon, Great wall of china and etc (also assuming that they are mostly intact).

I think Grand Canyon should be intact.

He should definitely take her to the mountains. She spent most of her life in space (just like my Shep) so she would enjoy the view.
And does anyone think Eiffel Tower is still standing?

I doubt it. But hey, Big Ben was somehow left standing so who knows.

No way. The Reapers probably hit all the major cities on Earth.
I think Tali would like the seascape somewhere, but also a hot and arid area similar to Rannoch. Maybe the coast of Caifornia.
I think rebuilding would be higher on the priority list than going to tourist attractions.

^ Yep. They will be helping others and cleaning up the mess. Maybe thay'll go somewhere after the situation is uder control.

Btw. where are the rocks similar to those on Rannoch? I think it's in Arizona, but correct me if I'm wrong.

Hi everyone, I've been on the forums for awhile, but this is my first time posting in the Tali thread.

I'm curious to what bonus power you used in your ME3 playthroughs where you romance Tali? and how do you approach it from a story aspect?

For me I choose Defense drone and the story behind it, is its a gift off Tali (she wants to protect Shepard even if she isn't near)

Hello and welcome...I think I used Energy Drain, but I was focusing more on biotics. And how I approached it from a story aspect? Well... I never think about that, but I guess she just taught him how to do it.

I used her automatic claymore. I'm not sure where exactly that power came from, but apparently it only shows up in cutscenes. :(

On my canon Shepard (a soldier) I would always use tech based bonus powers (Electronics in ME1, Geth Shield Boost in ME2, and Energy Drain or Defense Matrix in ME3) since my Shepard has always been good at tech/engineering stuff due to growing up on ships. As a child he was always very interested in ships, so he would go down to engineering whenever he had free time to talk to the engineers and help out where he could. Infact, he kept this up long after he entered the military, and its how he first started to become close friends with her (spend more time talking to her then any crew member during ME1)

While he did not train as a combat-engineer, thus the soldier class, he does have some useful tech skills he can use in combat.

I played it this way since I decided that my Shepard would have a lot in common with Tali, that being growing up on ships most of his life and a shared interest in ships.

My canon Shep has a colonist background, so he can really relate to Tali and the Quarians losing Rannoch.

Spacer background is nice, but I switched to colonist because of the whole issue with shep's mom in ME2 & ME3.

Earthborn background, I have no clue how this could relate to Tali or the Quarians.

There's only head left from the original one right? The one that was in Kasumi DLC. Anyone think that now it belongs to Kasumi?

Maybe.... depends on if Kasumi went back to get it later.

Well, i guess because earthborn Shep always learned how to make do with so little like the quarians have to,and you know , having nothing to call your own and all that. At least thats how my Shep relates to the quarians sort of. He understands what its like to be seen as a pest to sociaty and doing you he can to get by. Thats what pissed off my Shep so bad with Lia'Vael and Kor'tun about his credit chit.

I can see that...

But it still isn't as close as the other two IMO.

My Shepard's background is irrelevant. As the player controlling him, I've always been attuned to other people's emotions, so I just easily sympathized with the quarian situation. I knew they weren't blameless, but also that they shouldn't shoulder all of the blame, either.

But the background is what helps define your Shep.

I could never relate to Earthborn. I could barely relate to Spacer. But Colonist... It has the most elements I can connect with.

I think the background is not meant to be looked into this much...

spacer seemed the best, as it allowed shep to have a loving parent. i used that background for paragon every time.

The only problem with Spacer, is that Shep says nothing to his mom in ME2, and Hacket tells him in ME3, "oh she is fine!", it would have been better if you could atleast have one tiny conversation with her.

my 3 favorite combonations for Shepard backgrounds are

Space/Sole Survivor (canon shep)

Earthborn/War Hero

Colonist/War Hero

Yeah, that was a pretty throw-away line, but in that regard, none of Shepard's backgrounds mattered worth a sh*t in ME3 (which I quite frankly disliked a fair deal when I found that out). <_<

I've always liked colonist/sole survivor. Aside from me liking the "hero" having a tragic background. One of my favorite side missions from ME1 was "I remember me" from the colonist background.

We don't have rocks that can turn invisible on Earth.

Also, for those who read my fic, chapter 4 will be out soon. Did around 3 pages today, and I think it may be the longest to date!
