Yes.  So long as you romance another character in ME 2, the flirting with Kelly no longer factors in.  I tried feeding them constantly myself, but eventually gave in and found that neither Tali nor Kelly made any comment about the flirting.  Why they made Kelly feed your fish only in the case of the player flirting with her is probably an oversight, but it does make things a little awkward.

Still, you can have Tali and have your fish.  No longer will Tali's comment of "I didn't come up here just to see the fish" fall flat when she turns around and finds that no fish are in the tank!

Yes, Kelly does not count as a LI, so you will be fine.

Lol, the most activity in days sparked by a fish feeding conversation. Though I do miss calling Tali up just to spend time in the cabin, along with the afterlife music from the clock.  Those were good times.

I miss all those little things you could do around the Normandy. At least it gave you something to do besides talk to people. I mean c'mon how awsome would it be to get drunk with Tali. Or is that giving to much attention to a character besides Liara. <_<

I miss being able to pour a drink in the lounge, and then be able to drink it.  Missed opportunity for a cutscene with Tali right there.

I also miss having Zaeed, Grunt, Jack, Kasumi, Miranda, and Gardner (the cook/plumber) on board as well.  All the "friendly faces" that used to be on the Normandy, and you can't recruit them back.

We still have the old team, of course, but after the second game it just doesn't feel like it had the same spirit.  At least Tali's dialogue (along with the rest of the crew's) is awesome.
