^^ I like the bottom left as well, but she looks a little too "elfy".

The best Tali wasn't even in that montage. Tsk.

I think Ash Sroka would have been perfect for Tali's face.

EDIT: In case you don't know what she looks like.

EDIT 2: pic aint not gonna go work.

One line that could sum up ME3- So much wasted potential. ^^ she would have made a great tali and probably would of been easier then using google to take that image since she would be in the dam studio recording for them.

Thanks a bunch, 18 Brains! I know some people say "too human" to that pic, but oh well. You have to suspend disbelief to enjoy Mass Effect, which is part of what makes it so great.

And yes, they could have justify used Liz Sroka's face and quarianized it like they did that female model. An odd decision in any case. Considering all the pre-planning and concept art that goes into a game like ME, for them to use a stock photo is bizarre.

btw: are there img tags like [ img ] or can newer posters not post pics until their post count goes up?

Yeah, still no one is gonna pay attention to this Tali gold.

Read it. Good. One big problem: cliffhanger. You do not update frequently, so leaving a cliffhanger is not good.

I never got the "looks too human" stance that some people had.  Especially since it was fairly well established just from what we can glimpse through Tali's visor that she has a largely human like face.  Eyes and nose in the same places.  Some question as to skin color and exact mouth shape, teeth and maybe hair.   I also seem to recall a reference somehwere saying that outside of the number of digits the basic physical anatomy is the most human like of all the races.

One question I occasionally kind of thought about was would quarians generally enjoy looking at humans?  Given that removing ones suit and/or showing your face is usually done only with those your intimate with I could imagine quarians just starting on their pilgrimage might find humans a little disconcerting to interact with initially.  Kind of like having to talk to naked people on the street or something. ^_^

One of the only truly thought-provoking posts in days, IMO. Kudos. =]

I've totally been thinking about that for one of the later chapters of Two Years Later. I actually really don't know how to go about that. How would Tali react to seeing Shepard with no shirt on? (If you're wondering how she could see him with his shirt off on a civillian ship...Exercising.)Posted Image

Not sure, xeno.  Been a while.Posted Image

exelsis and Terror are still here, and Tairis, Calinstel, and Ryuji pop in from time to time.  Lots of the others are either in Clan Zorah or The Tali Room.

Me, I stay here for the most part.  Got lots of new members visiting the thread.

Currently discussed topic is this: if quarians associate not wearing masks or certain articles of clothing to them being "naked," and since humans look so similar to quarians, what would most quarians think of when they're talking to humans, and how they might consider our dress code (i.e. Tali sees Shepard shirtless in the weight room while he's working out, what is her reaction?)

I think that topic would surely be covered in the quarians pre-pilgrimage training program. (the different way of life outside o the flotilla including dress and such) THey probably watch videos of how other species operate and interact with each other. I agree that it would be a huge culture shock, but after a bit, a quarian on a pilgrimage would have to get used to it.
Plus, about the whole seeing Shepard without his shirt on thing,
That probably comes from the emotional aspect of being intimate with Shepard. Her mind grows attached to him, she elevates him in her mind, he becomes sexy to her, then her brain releases the appropriate hormones when she sees his sexy form. Plus, if being intimate for Tali is just being outside of her suit, imagine how she reacts when they are nude together.

Well, we see how she reacts when he's undressed:

And obviously when they're nude:

Used the text editor to add in a email about the Firefight Pack. Think I might do this and write some LI based emails or something in game, possibly indicating "post-game survival" or something.

Lol Quarians arn't hermits, they're nomands. They keep up with Galaxy affairs when they refuel and when a young Quarian returns from a pilgrimage, they would of been aware of humans enough to not be afraid or uncomftable around, well... no more so then usual meeting another species for the first time.

And humans arn't the only race to walk around half naked at times lol, they are more then aware of Asari so I doubt Humans came as a shock.

As to if they find humans attractive, well it would be odd if they didn't, both Humans and Quarians share alot of traits when it comes to appreance, young (as in child) Quarians may even confuse a Human for one of them. So infact a Human may be even easier to interact with then other species as some on pilgrimage would view them as suitless Quarians, hence why Quarians on pilgrimage tend to date humans above other species.
