I was pretty happy

I hvae a confession, Tali's never been my LI, but I absolutely love her (okay am an oldie so get a tad paternal towards to her), defo one of the very best characters in gaming and I've been a gamer for 30 years now. Thank you for posting, a lovely little video.

Being a FemShep Kaidanmancer who's only had one playthrough as a male and never romanced Tali, I probably shouldn't be here, but I felt the need to say...
I've always admired Tali's shoulders. They're so slim... and perfect.

Nice to see a thread like this. I'm also a fan of Tali, though I would not call myself a Talimancer (I tend NOT to be so obsessive) because this term is so negatively biased.
She is definetely one of my most favorite characters of the ME trilogy, followed by Garrus and Liara and I also nearly always romanced her. I played ME 2 and ME 3 several times and except one playthrough, she was always my LI. One time, I choose Liara for ME 3 because you read a lot that she's the "canon" romance for Shepard, though I think content-wise, Tali and Liara get more or less the same. The biggest difference is that Liara joins your squad much earlier. In my opinion, the biggest problem is that ME 2 introduced so many squad mates, so Bioware tried to satisfy every fan out there with ME 3, resulting in less dialogue and content for every individual character in the game. It's really bad that Tali only gets 2 or 3 cinematical dialogues on the Normandy with Shepard, apart from the non-cinematical "comments" concerning the last mission. Well, at least there's a lot of dialogue with Garrus.
When ME 2 was released, I always thought there weren't too many people interested in romancing Tali, but I think it's a compliment to Bioware's writers that even a character whose real apperance is hidden behind a enviromental suit gets so much positive attention. Odd enough, I like that Tali's features aren't presented in such a obvious manner, as for example Miranda's "posterior" and that Tali scores with a likeable and sweet personality. Liara is also a well written character, but to me, the Asari also appeared as "blue sex aliens", a thing I'm not really fond of. Also, I liked her voice actress a lot, the little eastern european accent being only one from a lot of great things about her. But yeah, I really wished to see a little more content with her.

omg yes.
1) I imagine them being bald for practical reasons, but the short hair works so much better than the inexplicable long hair in the stock photo.
2) OMG YES I LOVE GIRLS WITH SHORT HAIR I LOVE TALI EVEN HARDER NOW!

not that but a more subtle version. I think I found them in a forum with HR textures along with the rest of character tpf but I think they're deleted. Pff.... I miss seeing Tali's eyes instead of these two pinprick lights on her visor...

The newest version of the mod I linked doesn't give you a full visible visor for Tali anymore, so it's quite similar to the pictures you posted here. I have to agree that the version with the non-transparent visor isn't really good (looks a little strange), although the guy who made the mod definitely put a lot of work in it. So if you have no alternative, you may give a shot.
Edit: So before I forget: The images linked there are NOT how Tali looks ingame with this mod. I don't have any screenshots, so sorry I can't provide you with some impressions of the mod.
Double edit: Another thing, completely unrelated to the mod, came to mind just this moment: I'm curious how satisfied you Tali fans are with the content the Citadel DLC delivered?
