Just because they haven't announced that quarians aren't a playable race yet in the multiplayer doesn't mean they won't be included at all. I imagine if they were playable, then they may be one of the most popular choices.
I agree. I think there is quite a lot of demand to play as a Quarian. Not to mention, they feature in the ME games just as much as any of the other races that have been confirmed in multiplayer.

multiplayer, players will create
custom characters to fight on different and unique fronts in the war.
This will include the ability to play as favorites like Turians,
Krogans, Asari and more... each with their own unique set of abilities
Hopefully, Quarians come under the 'and more' category.

Quarians should be implemented as they allready have seperate male and female models with working animations, would be ridiculous not to use them.
I was thinking the same thing. It seems a little strange how out of the races that have been mentioned, they only have one model. I.e. There is no female Turian model, or female Krogan model, and there is only one Asari model, yet both male and female models are available for Quarians! Or, perhaps that is what the problem is? i.e. the fact that there
are two models for the Quarians. But I don't see how that could be a problem programming wise...
