what's so nasty about Tali on Twilight action?

if you're disgusted by the child bit on that post, he just means that it's been a while since he's been to this thread and is wondering if there is any news on Tali or if people are still talking about Qumans (which is probably where he left off)

I'm guessing it's like Earth but more arid...

.......which is exactly what Legion said...

I also can't say how much vegetation there currently is or how much there was during the geth uprising...but judging from the etymology of the name "Rannoch" (walled garden)...I'd say that there could be a lot of forests/jungles enclosed in mountains and hills and stuff....

but this could have cultural/mythological meanings we don't know about (like how the planet and it's plant life is walled off from the void of space or something)

I dunno...I doubt all planets follow a specific ecological type...like X planet is a desert planet, Y planet is a jungle planet, Z planet is a tundra planet...I think that each planet that birthed the current spacefaring races have an amalgamation of environments, with some being more prominent than others (like in the case of the drell, where they had very dry places like deserts and stuff)

i assume the drell act the same as humans in ecosystem because alot of them had to leave their planet because the water had become polluted and hardly anything ever grew humans would have suffered the same fate but humans found'ed the mass relays and prothean ruin before that could happen

Actually the humans only dealt with overpopulation. Pollution and etc. weren't an issue. The drell hadn't even harnessed fusion power by the time their crops had failed.

I wonder how much wildlife was present on Rannoch before the Morning War? The way they go about it, you'd think there were still vast grasslands and such even when housing billions of Quarians. Seems to be taken that way in fan productions pretty unanimously.

Oh, and here's a poll wondering why people have moved from trolling Tali to Quarians in general, for funzies: http://social.biowar...51/polls/25831/

A lot of people seem to hate them for creating the geth... even though all the quarians involved with creating the geth are dead. Very confusing.

A lot of people on that poll are idiots.  Imagine that one of your ancestors murdered someone 300 years ago.  Because of that, your given a life sentence to prison.  How in the hell does that make any sense at all?

um let me put it this way, do you accept the fact that your ancestor was wrong in killing whoever he killed 300 years ago?
Or what would you think of someone who walks around with a swastica tatoo, loudly proclaiming that they were justified in what they did during WW2, or better yet pulling the victim card because most of the world hates ****s anyways.

As you see its not quite a clear cut matter. I don't neccesarily like the fact that quarians are getting the cold shoulder from some people, but I can understand where they come from.

*edit, didnt realise bioware filters the "n" word >.<

Scourge king, there's a point where enough is enough, and you've clearly passed it. Please stop your annoying fanboy gushing. You are part of the reason why this fandom is so hated. If you want the Tali fandom (and as an extension, Tali herself) to be respected again, you must stop posting your obsessive, hormonally induced drivel.

Hm. But the Jews weren't computer programs, were they? Sorry, might be a bit foggy on this one. Also, I hadn't thought that the Jews retaliated and killed every German man, woman in child, except for the odd 1/1000 that escaped...

i was trying to make the connection of sapient life not machine vs jew. As for the retaliation you would have to factor in the lack of a moral system in the geth, combined with an overwhelming sense of survival. Think Asimov's 3 laws, without the 1st law.

There's no fog or confusion when the people being punished are being punished for no wrong doing.  The intent was never to create an AI system, and by attempting a shutdown, they were following citadel law.  That's just the first of many reasons why the treatment of the quarians is so wrong.

I agree good sir, was merely pointing out why some people developed harsh viewpoints on the quarians plight.

*Edit, The intent was to never create an A.I. true. But baring intent aside an A.I. was created. Thus in the rest of the galaxy's eyes, Quarians betrayed council law. This provided a marvelous opportunity for the council to demonstrate to the rest of the galaxy, what happens when you meddle with A.I. Hence why the quarians didn't recieve any support from the council.
