By narrative anything Geth heavy or with call backs to the first game, so the crashing ship, weather manipulator, Firewalker Legions LM and Project Overlord for anti Geth, and Tuchanka, Citadel and Illium missions plus anything involving Husks like the Derelict Reaper and Mine of the Dead
missions.
By game play mechanics it depends on difficulty as well as if you've got her bonus power. On the hardcore or insanity difficulty settings energy drain is useful for anything involving shielded enemies, which is about 2/3's of the game. Certainly makes tearing Eclipse and Blue Suns apart a hell of a lot easier.

Well, to be fair to the VS, the scene was poorly written, which as a result is just BW writers pissing on fans of the VS. Also, if the VS really wanted to go w/ Shepard they couldn't b/c they would be charged w/ desertion.

^This also seeing some one come back from the dead can really jarring when played straight. Comic now play it for laughs cause it happens so much.

Also, what colour do people imagine Tali's skin to be? I know we don't know from any evidence in game, but I imagine everyone has a depiction of (roughly) what Tali looks like in their own mind.

Grey would be acceptable, if a bit dull, plus Turians and Elcor are already sporting grey, so I'd prefer something a bit more unique.

Also, couple days late but derped on my earlier post. I'm just going to say the two following posts were much better articulated/correct and blame my strange run-on sentences on a few too many glasses of wine. Tali-ho, wot wot.

A colorless or tinted transparent/translucent complexion could be interesting. It would at least make quarians a lot more distinctive compared with other species.
transparent skin? I dont know if thats kinky or just plain wrong.

while these little guys are adorable, do you think you actually want to see through ANYONE'S skin? think about it. The muscles, tendons, and ligaments virtually squirming under their flesh like a nest of snakes, their GI tract undulating and pulsing as it pushes partially digested food around. Think about that. Do you have a weak stomach? Seeing through the skin of a human would make you vomit as assuredly as if you were doused with blood, pus, excrement, and then saw your grandparents have sex.

Erm... You're a bit on the squeemish side, I take it? On the contrary, a stationary human's (Or Quarian's, obviously) muscles, etc. aren't a writhing mass of flesh; The very occasional slight twitch of a muscle, the beating of the heart and breathing of the lungs, and even more occasional movements with the digestive track are the most you'd see. If her skin was as translucent as the gecko's you pictured, I don't think it would bother anyone (Well, certainly not me; That gecko is barely translucent as it is).
Not that I'm in love with the idea. Just another one that I'd be perfectly alright with, though it'd be interesting, I suppose. Still think some shade of purple is the most likely one, as I'm sure the folks at Bioware associate the colour with her as much as any fan.

I am personally not squeamish at all. I have seen hip replacement surgery, historectamy, and nephrectamy. But a LOT of people would be unable to function at all in society if human skin was translucent. But still, the musculature of a bipedal hominid is extremely complex and intricate. They are more active than just hydraulic type pistons that pull instead of push. Every motion you make would be a glorious interplay between the components of the skeletomuscular system, but most people would be disgusted by such a thing. If i had perfectly transparent skin, I could make at least 10 people I know vomit on the spot by doing nothing more than presenting my forearms and rotating them. Do not want. But in any case, the evolutionary reasons for having translucent skin that we see on earth would not give reason for quarians to have that as well, as rannoch is allegedly more arid than earth, which would likely give rise to tougher skinned animals and i'm rambling. anywho, there are... other ways of learning about quarian musculature than having their skin transparent. Perhaps Tali could give my shepard some, shall we say, extracurricular education?

Unless you are talking about peoples skin becoming transluent out of nowhere in which I case I could agree.
Although to be honest I think it would be cool to see my insides. I am already fascinated with biology as it is.
