I don't know about physics puzzlers like Portal though, for someone as smart as she is I can only imagine that those kinds of games would be incredibly mundane. I think most people try to avoid things they're too good at or that they do on a daily basis, I personally can't stand sports games or anything that involves excessive amounts of math as entertainment.

I always preferred Tali`s old suit.
ME2 Tali Suit > ME1 Suit IMO.

What? No, I meant that's Tali's favourite computer game. And what kind of Shepard she'd roll.
Though, mine's identical. Well, except that his name's Commander Shepard. Heh heh heh.

So, I hear that Merrill is DA's version of Tali.
Have you seen the romance scene? It pretty much even runs the same way. The difference between them is that Merrill comes across as a lot more naive than Tali does, but personality wise they are indistinguishable at times.
What? They are not that similar mate. They both fulfill the nerd fantasy archetype, but personality wise they are quite different, they perform different functions for their people, they have different aptitudes.
Its like comparing tali to ashley williams. If you were to describe them both to someone, they will sound similary but really they are quite different.
Needless to say tali fans will probably like merill, but they are not the same person.

Mass Effect 2. Playing John Shepard, Engineer. Single in ME1, romanced Tali in ME2.
Engineer? Respect.
I originally romanced Liara, but she made me feel too guilty in LOTSB when Tali became the pixelated love of my life. So I went back and made it with Ash instead, who I felt no guilt at all in shrugging off later.
Speaking of changing love interests from ME1 to Tali in ME2, I hve a funny story related to my cannon playthrough. I just got ME1 (I played ME2) so I could make a cannon playthrough for when ME3 came out. I had tried to stay single in ME1, but aparently being vaugly nice to Liara means that my Shepard isin love with her and that even though I told her to screw off during the romance scene she still thinks she and my shepard are togeather... So in the end I decided to keep that as my canon and Roleplay it that Liara is compleyely insain and is delusional; thus having no real guilt as my Shepard romances Tali.

Huge Tali fan, totally did not like Merrill, so as with so much it depends on how you as an individual interpret the character.
Awh, come on now, Tali would like Merrill.
...Well, she'd probably get extremely confused with the ramblings, at least. I'm amazed there's no art on this.

Gah, which toystory move is that quote from? And what was the original quote? Its driving me mad!
Toy Story 2. Wasn't based on an actual quote either, just the outlines of a particular frame.

Ah thanks Rokku.
Not a problem. It's actually good to know sometimes that retaining mountains of useless information isn't entirely useless. It actually comes in handy that odd 4% of the time or so!

I like how it's Tali looking out for Merril (like Varric has to).

I wonder if they'll actually end up having her use that for something before the end of 3, or if it's just forever going to be one of those odd, inexplicable items that characters carry around.

Happened to me too so i went back in ME1 and just did NOT talk to either ash or liara at ALL, outside of the briefing room. Only way i've found that allows you to stay single and therefore free to hug dat quarian! That is why my main shep is goin into ME3 with only having romanced tali and no drama with any other.

She'll totally snipe Harbinger's Mass Effect core with it.

To me the best romances are the me2 ones (you actually had to earn their trust before starting a romance with them) and specially the tali and garrus ones since it was truly something born out of time of getting to know each other and going trough hard things together, it added that depth which I enjoy when having my shep romance someone (also one of the reasons that make me think that tali is best left as only a me2 and 3 romance, not in me1)

When Ashley asks you about the aliens on board the Normandy ask her if she always questions her superiors. When Liara asks if you are friends or more with Ashley, say you are just friends with her, and then say you are just friends with Liara as well. Not so hard.

As long as he randomly yells "I KNOW YOU FEEL THIS" when he dies, I'm completely okay with that.
