The Quarians are actually gonna try and take back their homeworld. Thats right! Put a few stinger missiles on those jumbo jets filled to the freaking brim with CIVILIANS and send them out on sorties.
BW's writing is amazing. Space is going to be filled with floating bucketheads in ME3.

In that picture she's entirely human.
I've never seen that skin tone on a human. Otherwise yes, it is accurate. We can see quarian facial structure just fine and we've even seen their skeletons. They are quite human. Just accept it.

Ah, yes. Because their civilian ships are what fight off the pirate raids. They tend to swarm the invaders by gentling bumping them until they fall apart.

I'm betting most people saw this coming plotwise. It kind of had to happen to make the backdrop to the geth/quarian mission more exciting and urgent.
Also would it be too much to ask to put spoiler tags on this kind of thing?

You seem oddly for certain given that fact that nobody but the ME3 Dev team know what Tali/Quarians look like.
So just accept it.

I can see enough of the placeholder through the mask and I've seen the skeletons so I'm quite certain.

Saying that the only part of Tali we can deffinately see (Silvery-white eyes and a human-like nose, upper cheekbones, brow) isn't what she looks like is a little... Dumb. Did Bioware really say that?
That they never gave much thought to what they looked like without the suits? Yeah, I think it was in an interview some time back, that even in the earliest concept stages the suits were a part of the design.
If I took that out of context though, apologies. Trying to still read here and there in skim mode, since I'm really gunning not to have anything spoiled.

If they change the place-holder too much it will be a retcon. So don't expect any mandibles. (we have had a quarian face described to us)
That's a popular word these days.

Placeholder is humanish, and their facial features are described and match a human's, minus the ears.
Are funky eyes, a different skin tone/texture, odd hair/quills/whatever, wierd ears, recurved knees, different hands & toes, wider hips & who knows what else under there, too human for you?

it's like finding a giraffe on Earth, a blue one on Thessia, and then a purple one with curved forelimbs and glowy eyes on Rannoch...
at the end of the day, it's still too "giraffe-ish"
also, quarian hips aren't so special. My sister, father's cousin and aunt, and 2 of my friends have wide hips...and many women where I live also have dem child-bearing hips
if you were to compare the model, it's the same width as a standard ME human's but what's altered is the waist, which was made smaller to make the hips stand out.

Sexy Turian is sex-- I mean, alluring Turian is alluring.
I don't "get" infatuation with turians. I meant that they were very well designed from a creature standpoint.
Quarians are by far the most alluring.

Totally in the boat of people that want her to look unique, but this whole "too human" when it's already apparent that Quarians aren't like, squid people with tentacle arms is kind of odd. They aren't going to pull off the helmet and have a giant cockroach staring back at you. Just by facial structure alone (under the visor), it's already been pretty apparent that they're human-ish.

I also don't necessarily think that quarians and turians look alike just because they're dextro. Humans and krogan are levo and we look nothing alike.

Sorry, I don't buy it. The being described by DoNotIngest is plenty alien. What the rest of you are wishing for is just not realistic as far as quarians go. Go court a turian if you need a more exotic alien design (turians are by far the best designed aliens in the game).
Yep, Turians are one of the best-designed aliens out there. They added mandibles to a style of creature that should never have had them... And totally pulled it off.
I'm amazed that people want Tali to be some sort of Rachni/Batarian hybrid. Her form, minus below the knees and minus her hands, is very human-like. Factor out the slim waist, large hips and muscular thighs that go along with them, and she becomes identical to a human. Add in that, even disregarding the placeholder, we know she has human-sized eyes in the same spot as a human, and you can't get much more alien than what I proposed.
Sorry, but there's no Krogan under that suit.

lol
and @DoNotIngest, I'm pretty sure that the "needz moar alien" people like myself aren't asking to make out with Predator/Zoidberg/Thorian...we just don't want this:

it's just too human
......if I was skilled at digital art, I'd totally draw what I think would please both sides...so I might just draw it by hand one of these days...............maybe......
