You can be a jerk to Liara in ME1 and part of ME2 and you still get all buddy buddy by LotSB.

What I do like about Tali's is that she is the one actually try to initiate it, rather than Shepard pouring on the charm. He makes an innocent comment and she pounces on it. So to speak.

Speaking of which, I she's... her most appealing when you reply with, "Whenever you're ready, I'll be here for you." and Tali replies with something to the effect of "I'll hurry and do my best" and then, "I promise".

The way she says "I promise..." makes me blush.

I agree with the part about Tali coming onto you, but at the same time, I think it was handled well for what it was. She made a slip up, and then tried to cover it up to a degree.

And I agree. I like that option WAY better than Captains Orders.

Yeah, it annoys me that LOTSB cannonizes that Shepard and Liara are good friends. I mean my Shepard was always friendly with her, but he wouldn't have been quite so concerned for her well being when the building blows up. The way Shepard says, "Liara's in there!" just feels out of place.

He also would have wanted to turn the SB base over to Cerberus.

Just have to adapt I suppose.

Admittedly I'm not sure if his being with Tali really fits his character either. That's more of a break in roleplaying to treat myself.

Well I'm pretty sure that everyone's plot armor comes off in 3.

See, I hate Cerberus, and totally agreed with Tali.

ive always wondered if tali's circumstances were somewhat similar to isaac's. isnt tali just your everyday handyquarian? why r we taking her to firefights?

she is a genius among her own people, placing her as possibly one of the greatest engineers in existence.

Actually, Tali is stated as having among the best training in the Quarian fleet(she says so in ME1, as the daughter of an admiral she got pretty darn good training) also in the suicide mission I know it states that Tali is considered a technical prodigy even among the Quarians, no idea if it says that anywhere else though.

Tali is a technological genius, and had the best military training the quarians offer.

Well, the loyalty suit has some Cerberus. The fabric is almost white, has some black and yellow lines.

Hah, to badass engineers.

She has some thicks, the best military training and she is a genius, not everything can be solved with brute force and space magic.

I have just been reading a comment...someone stating Tali's romance is not believable, it got me thinking about believable a non believable romances...I know a common argument against Tali is her lack of interest in ME1, personally I find that makes her feelings more believable...deep feelings grow with time, not a sudden "Hello, nice to meet you, can we spend the rest of our lives together?".

How do you feel? Would you have felt it more appropriate for Tali to become a romance option in ME1 or 2? Whats more believable to you?

Especially after Shepard died. Can you imagine, being in that pod, he runs back and gets Joker, throws him in and gets sucked into space? Hard to die being much more of a hero. Two years to reflect on that, and she probably missed Shepard badly, especially if you were nice to her in ME1 (Didn't think it was possible not to be ), as you're really the only non-Quarian to ever help her, and even with other Quarians, you're on a very short list.



As to not taking Tali into battles, she seems extremely fond of her shotgun. And Chiktikka. Plus, her genius tech-hacking and overloads help a great deal against Geth and Mechs. Throw in the best Quarian combat training there is (which, by the way, would mean she's technically at least as good as Kal'Reegar, although he seems like he's one of the best, so they're probably on par), and what's not to like?


I really like how Tali is a tech genius amongst a race of tech geniuses, and it's never rubbed in your face, especially in ME2. In fact, she never really shows her true genius, just fixing some relatively simple problems in a rapid manner. Would be VERY cool to see just how much Tali can do in ME3...

Depends on the lighting.

In the engine room, it is definitely blue. On her loyalty mission with the orange lighting, it is green.
