Oh okay. Thanks for the reply. But in an effort to get into the convo, I'll say that the raven looking Tali is probably one of the more nice ones in my opinion. Artist did a fancy job.

You know I'm going to ignore my disagreement with Saphra earlier.

She probably will look human.

Even going by her body (and the placeholder face, why not) everything already seems to be human enough anyways so why not.

Yeah, the novels did say something along the lines of them looking vaguely human. Don't know if Bio will follow up on that though.

Well, ignoring the placeholder face:

1) Tali referred to her "skin" during her romance dialogue (not scales, plates, feathers or fur).

2) Voice sounds similar enough, any distortions can be put down to the mask/helmet. So likely similar vocal chords, similar mouth, similar tongue etc.

3) 2 breasts. In exactly the same place as human females. So Quarians are mamallian (Primates?)


With placeholder face?

4) Similar shaped and positioned eyes to humans.

5) Similar shaped and positioned nose to humans.



So the differences are the limbs, and likely eye colours/patterns, skin tones/patterns. But otherwise will likely look *very* similar (but hopefully not Night Elf similar).

If Saphra ends up reading this, I honestly had a change of heart, I'm not just ****ing with you. =P

If by vaugely human you mean almost exactly human than ya.

In Ascension it is stated that quarians are capable of learning English.

While not a guarantee, that means Shepard may be able to learn Khelish.

 Well, *this* is going to be incredibly belated, but, I just inquired to someone who read that massive spoiler list that leaked; I personally avoided it like the plague. However, I just could not help but inquire about Tali. I know, I know. I'm a terrible Talimancer that will likely burn in Hell for my weakness. Still, even though I threatened to hit him in the face with a Frying Pan if he spoiled anything else he did come through with my one question: "Will I be happy with the Tali story?" He gave me a firm nod. So....(Apprehensively) Woo-Hoo? Was he wrong? By the by, I don't want to get banned for even *asking* about that leak, so please Mods don't ban me. Honest mistake.
